Jason.C
Taken from the poole site: Swedish sensation Antonio Lindback has been named in the Sweden world cup squad, by Swedish coach Tony Olsson. The reigning world cup champions begin the defence of their title in the opening event at Eastbourne on Monday August 2nd where they take on Team GB, Poland and the winners of the final qualifying round which takes place in Gyula, Hungary this weekend (July 10th) featuring Austria, Russia, Hungary and Slovenia. As well as being named for the SWC competition, Lindback, who has been in superb form this season for the RIAS Pirates has also received a call-up as a Grand Prix wild card for the Gothenburg event which is the next round in the series, and being held on 21st August. Great news for the guy. Can't wait to see how he does at Gothenburg.
rabbit
Brilliant news! His form over here at least has been sensational and the call-up for Sweden in the SWC had to be in the offing. To get the wildcard for the GP is a bonus and hope he shows the form that we know he's capable of (Ipswich excepted maybe )!!
