tomazpozrl
I was wondering how many of you are planning to come to Krsko in September to see Slovenian GP ? It would be nice to meet some of the famous forum members.
pugwash
See you there. We will be in the camping area, motorhome, Pirates flag, fridge full of cold beers and our dog, called "Matej", ( named after a famous Slovenian rider but which one? )

Joanne
I want to go but their are too many Polish fans that go and after what happened in Prague, we aint taking the risk.. I suppose that means you're not going to Bydgoszcz, JY2003 Slovenia is the only remaining GP I'm not going to. I suppose I'm too chicken after hearing its in the middle of nowhere. I think Pugwash has got it right with a motorhome.

Martin
I was hoping to go with 9 other Reading fans, but it looks like we've left it too late as flights are now £260+ Maybe next year. Martin

And what exactly happened in Prague Jessica ? All the Poles were drunk! They couldnt stand! I got pushed over(Thats how my phone broke) The were p*****g in the bushes! It wasnt very nice! And we didnt even get to see the GP, so we went back to the hotel(Im sure others would have done the same)As people dont want to be stuck around Poles when they are drunk and p*****g everywhere

I take it you were stood on the terraces JY in the middle of the Poles. Why didn't you move somewhere else in the stadium? Maybe next time if you don't like summing it you should buy tickets for the grandstands! Can't blame the Poles for p*ssing everywhere either. After visiting one of the portaloo's early on in the evening I decided to visit the bushes each time afterwards. Shame you decided to go back to your hotel early, you missed one hell of a party. Please don't tar all Poles with the same brush either, just because you had a bad experience with a few. The Poles I met in Prague and at other speedway events over the years have been great and have created brilliant atmospheres.

From the 1st bend to the 3rd bend were packed with mostly all Poles.!We did try and move round to the home straight but we couldnt move to the home straight because we needed seating tickets..!Its not nice that "Blokes" p*ss everywhere. Its not nice for young children to witness. What else could we have done? It was pouring with rain, we couldnt see a thing, we was with loads off drunk Poles who were p*ssing everywhere. Im not saying that about all Poles. But the majority off the Poles that were their, WERE drunk.
crazysue
I would love to go but don't think hubby will let me out to play again for another year.......he's under the impression that I enjoyed myself too much without him in Denmark (he could be right)

pugwash
All these experiences do not relate to Krsko. This is one laid back G.P. Woodstock on wheels.

honey wolf
stayed in a holiday complex short drive from Krsko and excellent value for money.. Really enjoyed last year greated with excellent hospitality. Jessica, agree with what other people are saying about Poles cant tar them all with the same brush - majority I know are very friendly and had no problems whatsoever in Wroclaw earlier in the year. Do you actually like all the brits?? Buying granstand seats was probably your best option but if you like the atmosphere cant beat prague or polish gp

Gazza
Hi Tomaz, My wife and I will be driving from Cornwall (UK) to Krsko for the GP. Watch out for the Cornish flag and a little blue Peugeot 306 crammed to the roof with the pear brandy from the nearby Pleterje Monastery (has a kick like a mule according to the Lonely Planet guide !!). Looking through the posts it appears that we're not the only Tigers fans in Krsko - hi Pugwash !! Whereabouts is the campsite ?? Can't seem to find anything that close to Krsko on the 'net. We're really buzzing about this meeting - having been starved of speedway here in Cornwall this year ! Look forward to meeting you all in a few weeks time.
