I'll be there - anyone got tips for finding the stadium? (we'll be in a hire car heading from Verona)

Hi,

Out of the airport you take motorway direction VENEZIA (VENICE).

After 40 km. you take exit at MONTEBELLO VICENTINO.

You follow sign LONIGO (about 5 km.) and when you will be in the town you follow the signpost SPEEDWAY or IMPIANTI SPORTIVI.

Track is located apprx. 1 km. to Lonigo centre.

LATVIAN TEAM :

1. Andrey Korolew

2. Kjastas Puodzuks

3. Leonid Paura

4. Nikolay Kokin

5. ?

Great to see Latvia continuing to enter the SWC, even though they have only one track. Pity the USA aren't in it any more.

Nikolai Kokins seems to have been riding for a long time - how old is he?

Yes, you are right, Kolja was born in 1963... so he is very old rider.

If you wanna, you can find some information about speedway in Latvia on the official website : http://speedway.d-pils.info (but only in Russian language)

Our rider's Kjastas Puodzuks page : http://kp-team.gorod.lv

Many thanks.

Cannot view website, though, as Alta Vista Babelfish will not translate from Russian to English today
