Kylmo
When I said sellout I meant the main grandstand. Only tickets now left are on the temp stands and standing on the forth bend. Looks like the place is going to have a fantastic atmosphere, which is exactly what Benfield wanted. Don't know how many of us Brits have purchased tickets but I hope we are not outnumbered by Danes, Swedes and Poles! But I will be there with my English flag cheering the boys on to victory! as regard ticket sales I think you'll find that the tickets have been given to people like ticket master and they still have to sell them. They still haven't sold out yet by a long way

Steve Shovlar
as regard ticket sales I think you'll find that the tickets have been given to people like ticket master and they still have to sell them. They still haven't sold out yet by a long way Maybe not in Eastbourne but the grandstand at Poole is a sellout, and that's through the number given on the back of the Speedway Star. As I said there are tickets left at Poole on the bends, but doesn't it say the same in this weeks Star? I havent managed to get a copy this week to back up what I am saying, but have been told that the second in command at Benfield has reported it. Either way it's good news and looks like the place is going to be heaving, which is the idea.

Steve Shovlar
I have just spoken to wayahead. The grandstand is sold out but there are tickets left for the stands. However, if you use the phone number on the back of the speedway star, you annot choose where you can sit in the temp stands. Its a first come first served basis, and you may end up on the forth bend. On their website Wayahead.com you can choose which bend you want to sit on, either one, two three or four. So we now know that all bends are having temp stands built. As a sidenote, Matt ford is interested in continuing to hire these temp stands if Poole make the playoffs. britneyspears
ive managed to find a room in Poole for the 3 nights , am just a bit worried now about this ticket situation, does anyone know if the combined standing ticket for the race off/final would allow access to the main bar? and the price of this ticket? I won't know for certain if we can go for another 2 weeks so ill have to risk leaving it that long before purchasing the tickets

gooner_girl4eva
Sorry if this has has already been answered, so does this mean that unless you pay loads of money for hospitality etc, you will not have access to the bar throughout the meeting? Also what about after, will we not be able to go in as normal? I think they are trying to keep the fans away from the riders if thats what they are planning as I see they mention autograph sessions so thats their way of keeping it seperate like they do at the GPs. Surely they will let us fans congratulate the riders at the end??

I can heartily recommend the square sausage served up as part of our cooked breakfast in the cafe outside Bathgate railway station on Swindon's northern tour last year. Phil
Well I warned you to get those tickets and news today is that they are sold out on Thursday for the playoff and Saturday for the final! The grandstand for both events is sold out and there are only a small amount of standing left. There is temporary extra seating (no cover) being installed at £37.50 on the first and second bend to cope with demand. Benfield are putting in an additional 2000 seats. Thanks god I got mine! Hmm, were they really all sold out?
