shazzybird
Dave finally cracked it, he is my favourite Brit now. Mark Loram is second. Shame on you! Although Lee made the rostrum Dave Norris has taken his place in my Brit Pack. This fella rode out of his skin, absolutely fantastic and the whole crowd were behind him, he must of been getting such a buzz out of riding Saturday knowing all the fans were cheering him on race after race. Well Done Dave you were an absolute star a wild card that was fully deserved. Eastbourne fans should be really proud of you I know I am as a Brit fan!! Guest richtea78
We are Shazzy and to think some people at EB questions the merit of including him in the team over Deano
shazzybird
oh well thats a different matter I like Deano I'm with the critics there.......... jokes aside David Norris turned out to be the best man for the job both at Eastbourne and Cardiff. In view of speculation at Deano retiring at the end of the season, somehow I can't see David doing this just yet he really did peak on Saturday. Guest richtea78
I saw Deano at EB last night and he appeared to have a ssoft drink in his hand I think he will retire at the end of the season though - you will probably have a go for this but he seems to have lost his will to ride this season and has his mind on other things. Floppy is another matter though - hes on fire. We were talking about this last night and we came to the conclusion that should he qualify for the GPs next year he may decide to make that his swan song and go out on a high. Although from what he has said about disliking "proper" jobs he may keep going for some time
shazzybird
Someone needs to have serious words with Deano, he's not been himself for a fair while now it showed when the wacky hairstyles started maybe he's going through some sort of mid-life crisis He's really changed not the Deano of old is he anymore
Dave the Mic
Not sure how I missed this thread! Echo everything that was said really. David was a complete star on Saturday. This will sound mad, but I ripped my throat raw (I still can't speak propoerly now!) in his first race, that 3rd to 1st was sensational - the best race of the day for me. I have always had a soft spot for him & as a bloke he is just great, but he came of age on Saturday & his inclusion in the WC squad with Mark, Lee & Scott gives us a real chance of glory. I would love to see him as a GP regular, he demonstrated that he can easily live in that company, but in fairness, I think that has always been the case, it just hasn't come to the surface. Remember, he was close to being the best English guy around when he broke his leg while riding for Reading. he can be again. COME ON FLOPPY!
