Em
Cardiff was amazing...My Sister and I were so happy to be there. We didn't actually meet anyone there, as I'm generally too shy to say hi to people, and most people don't know me anyway. People may have seen us though...we were the strange ones with homemade union jack t-shirts, flags tied round our waists and we had little headbands with union jacks on them. We were also the people that everyone seemed to be laughing at we only looked slightly ridiculous. Hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did, and hope you didn't lose your voices from cheering so much.
born_2b_mad
An absolute classic Lt, brightened up my morning! at phil dribbling, looked like he was well on the way in the pow beforehand! Lioness
You're lucky Phil was only dribbling - I can't begin to tell you what he did to me I wasn't too well this year so didn't make it along to any of the gatherings-sorry peeps I missed! I did come along in the stadium when I 're' met Phil, Shazzy, Steve Turner and I think I met B2bM for the first time but I wasn't quite with it lol. Shazzy I think I gave you a fright cos I hadn't warned you I'd changed a bit due to health - sorry about that! I seem to remember a group hug and I *think* it was B2BM in it! I did get to meet some very nice forum people on the Thursday and Friday - General Melchitt and the King of the Old School (and a n other who occassionally posts and shall remain nameless ) as well as renew old acquaintances with Shoddy. Was sitting near the King otOS on Saturday too! Still looking for Philip Addison and his pants on his head tho! Sorry I missed Jo at Somerset on the Friday too Also met up with Jenny and JJ on the Saturday and they introduced me to the lovely Tsunami - nice to meet you guys! panthersfan
GP day was blistering.. a nice sleep-in til 12, followed by a lovely lunch, At 4 I headed off to the co-op with my music blaring into my ears, bag over my shoulder.. and it was then that the real fun began... selling cigarettes, alcohol, chocolate, sticking stickers on all sorts of stuff and writing numbers on said stickers, and then, perhaps best of all... counting out about £15 worth of 5p's.... then I plodded home, read my text from a61 (ta!) and collapsed in bed... blistering.. definitely got to do the same next year. False dawn
And he took me back to my hotel last year I didn't stay, honest. Now my memory of this year's visit is a touch hazy in places. Oh alright, I'm still not sure if I did actually go to Cardiff. But last year is as clear as a bell (funny, I don't remember being this absent minded). So if we're talking about how long the Lt taxi spent at this particular hotel I will need to rerun that night's events. Now let me see.......
