False dawn
I aint going to answer that one got me head bitten off twice...not going to try for a third....lol Well it's a bl**dy good job it wasn't really me then, but my less handsome, grumpy body double, isn't it? Sorry Krissie, that really wasn't me in Cardiff. Rearrange these words to form a well known phrase or saying: "tree my was of out I"

Addy
Still High on a wonderful weekend - this is how it was for me. Arrived at the hotel, Cardiff Bay, Friday evening - and went straight over to the Warf for a meal with Pammie, Laura, TT, and Pammie's cousin Marie. Then caught a taxi to the centre. Had first drink in PoW then we moved to the Cottage where we met up with Pammie's family and met up with BritneySpears et al. soon joined by Shazzy, Tabby & Rainbow - and then Karen & her boyfriend. Pammie et al moved onto O'Neils - but I stayed with Shazzy et al and Karen - who was at the other end of the bar. Britney by this time was only on her 14th drink and was quite lucid Declined suggestion of going to the BSPA party and went to find the others in O'Neils. After several circuits of the bar (containing Drymls and allsorts) realised they had moved on - a text from Pammie disclosed they had all moved onto Jupin' Jacks ( ) there met up with Pammie's family and friends, King Jamie, T.T., Dragon, Laura, Rachel and the birthday girl for that day - A61. Got back to the hotel in the early hours and had a mini party in Pammie's brother's room - went to bed about 3 - 4 am. Got up for breakfast on Saturday and we went for a lovely sunny walk to Cardiff Bay ("just like being on holiday"). Went for a cruise on the bay and was joined by N. Pedersen. Shazzy informed - see Cardiff Bay thread :-) NP was friendly and had his pic taken with me The others went off for a pizza and I went to Sam's Bar, followed by the Prince of Wales - now naming all the people becomes problematical - but you know who you were ... They included LW, WvH, BS, Krissie, Steve T, FD, Grim Reaper, LT, Rabbit & hubby, Woody the Bee, Matt, Sting, CrazySue, Blaze & the Hammer, POG/206, SCB, Summit, Gemini, Pawprint, Charles , Dickie Mint, Jive, 5-1, Born2Bmad, Full Throttle, StarLady, Nevsey & Mininevs, Beesboybert, Jay, DGM, King of Old School, Val & family, Dickiemint, Phil Jones, Pirate, Joanne & Norbold amongst others. Regretably I appear to have missed most of the Oxo crew (they went to the wrong Whetherspoons), Steve Shovlar, Lioness, Lanzilla, Jenny the Doc, Rotski and family, Cute Welshy, Pete Ballinger & JJ. The GP was good - nuff said - Eventually I was allocated the seat infront of Phil, and Joanne sat infront of Steve T. Just this seating was eventful - Was it raining? - no - apparently everytime they got excited they forget that each of them had a pint in their hands (very kind of Steve to assure Joanne that the liquid was coming from from his glass and not elswhere) and Phil - you are one lovely bloke - and I know I probably use far too much band-width - but ouch! ... (S'OK - the headache has almost gone :-) ) Rite so after hugs & kisses -> off to Sam's Bar again By about 1.00am some of us (Joanne, TT & I) got a little tired. One of our party manged to get back to her bed for 5.00am - according to a young Australian Rider - allegedly the birthday girl managed to swipe a few of his drinks - but a good time was had by all. Pammie did get up for breakfast - and was packed before me... She and Laura toyed with the idea of going to Newport but were concerned about getting to Bristol Airport on time - and besides we wondered how 3 Geminis could possibly get their luggage in one car - (Geminis always take reserves- what they need and what they may need, and what they may need if they change their minds) In the end I went to Newport on my own - on my own - but not for long - as Tigerblade said - there were lots of lovely people there (Good to hear your mum is much better) Nice to see Pirate help King of Old School collect shale from their glasses to take back to Poole and nice to see JayEmm and the Itman, krysti, Star, & Wato's lovely baby. Also there was Tony Atkin (health improving) Billy H. (No Bull) and Ken Ackers. Got to see the town of Newport for the first time when I gave Rachel, Dragon & dad a lift to the station. Then home ... Addy
That I did A61, and I'm glad you had a great time too. Can I just say a big thank you to False Dawn for all the organising he did on our behalf - that was very kind of you FD. And thanks to Phil of course - without whom we wouldn't have got to know each other and had such a good time. (I still don't believe you did that on Saturday Phil good to see you enjoying yourself - and I know it was an accident - so nay bother) Edited June 16, 2004 by Addy

diamonds_are_forever
I echo the thanks to FD for organizing it all & I didn't even get introduced! You're a star. Also thanks to Phil to even though I talked to him for ages & didn't even realise who it was I'd been talking to til I got back & looked at all the pics you's had taken! I knew I was talking to a Sheffo fan but I missed their name when Krissie introduced me to all the POW crew in about 30seconds I couldn't take everyone's name in! I had money to give you to phil to go towards the bandwith too - I feel so ignorant, that'll teach me not to ask people 10 times who they are til their name sticks lol. Gemini
I feel so ignorant, that'll teach me not to ask people 10 times who they are til their name sticks lol. Join the club. I am always getting confused with people and have to meet them at least twice before my brain gets the message who they are. And I've still not sorted out Cheetahhawk's lads. Had to make sure it was Scorpio I was talking to at the Castle. Pawprint won't forget him though.

Liontamer
Right then, after drawing the short straw for the second year running I set off towards Rugby, to pick up Steve Turner & Phil, before heading over to Coven(gag)try to collect Fd & Fd Jr. Having loaded the car up we set off for Cardiff & Fd kept us entertained by telling us all about his racing successes. We then turned out of his drive (only joking mate),& with a cheery wave & a smile we set off for Cardiff. Unfortunately we managed to get lost before we had even left Fd's road (I swear it's true). Anyway, we composed ourselves & were soon on our way again. We overtook the Coven(gag)try coaches just before Monmouth, & I received a text message from Krissie saying they were at Monmouth services. Sadly this came through too late as we were already lined up in a layby having a slash as the traffic thundered past, so we had to decline the offer to join them (not easy to text with your hands full). After several heated discussions & a show of handbags or two,(the navigator had left his reading glasses at home), we eventually agreed that we should exit the M4 at junction 32 (a unanimous decision by four "yes's" & one "please yer f***ing selves, I couldn't give a f***"). Anyway, we found a cracking place to park about two minutes walk from the stadium, & no, we're not telling you where it is, had a sort of picnic (sandwiches, burps, farts & weeing up tree trunks), before heading off to Sam's bar. After the meeting we eventually made our weary (& in some cases slaughtered) way back to the car, stopping only to wee up a few more trees, before setting off at a leisurely bat out of hell pace back to Rugby, Coven(gag)try, & Leicester. Phil was snoring & dribbling down his seatbelt before we were out of the car park, Fd & Fd Jr were asleep before we were out of Cardiff, & Steve kept awake for the whole journey (I dropped off just before Birmingham, but don't tell the others). Anyway guys, it was eventfull to say the least, but I had a great day, & it was good to see you all again. Only another year to go before.............God, I need a drink. False dawn
Liontamer is a star. He drives me to and from Cardiff (2 years running), doesn't complain and even manages to leave out the bits of the story best left out. [sorry, but you'll have to buy a copy of my autobiography to get the whole story]. Attention Steve Turner, Fd Jr (and Phil but for one less year). I don't think we can impose on Lt's generous nature for a 3rd year running. Next year we'll take him, okay? Addy
And he took me back to my hotel last year .... after you lot remembered you'd left me ... Thanks LT - lucky I didn't need a lift this year Phil was snoring & dribbling down his seatbelt before we were out of the car park, Fd & Fd Jr were asleep before we were out of Cardiff, & Steve kept awake for the whole journey (I dropped off just before Birmingham, but don't tell the others). Liontamer
[sorry, but you'll have to buy a copy of my autobiography to get the whole story]. Hmmm, maybe we could launch it at Cardiff next year..... 2004 Billy Hamill "No Bull". 2005 Fd "Loads of Bull". By God lads, I think we're onto a winner here.
