Vincent Vega
I would be interested to know how forum members days went in Cardiff tonight? What did you do before the GP? Who did you sit with? Did you go to any parties after the meeting and mingle with the speedway celebs?

shirls
Did'nt know who to shout for when all 4 brits were out in the same heat, Did'nt go to cardiff, had to make do with the telly, but still shouted for all the brits and of course Leigh Adams, (my dog was giving me some strange looks for shouting at the telly). but anyway Well done to the top three. And David Norris.
Robyn1972
(my dog was giving me some strange looks for shouting at the telly) You can worry - I had to go and watch it at my parents as we dont have Sky! ot only was the dog giving me looks, but they were too! Thought all the brits did well - Lee Richardson was outstanding. Floppy was great - just about every race he was in was "edge of the seat" exciting! From a Witches point of view, bit disappointed with Hans and Jesper's showings. Scotty did well though, and I thought that Chris had nothing to be ashamed of either! He was certainly enjoying himself in the commentary box afterwards too! Good to see him & Havvy shaking hands at the end too!

Just a shame that he couldn't have shared the podium with Floppy and Scott in the final, with Andreas in 4th place too. Best racing I've seen at Cardiff so far, plenty of passing. And wasn't Floppy brilliant?

Did anyone see the fantastic race buses after the meeting and Rickardsons Lotus? Does anyone know how many millions Rickardsson is worth? Guest I AM A BEE
Just got back, been an incredibly long day but one I have enjoyed heaps! It was my 1st GP experience, but will I be going back for more??? ......Erm...YEAH to right! Got down there about 3.30 went to the pub met Jive and Star Lady, but didnt go round to meet the others im afraid! Went for something to eat and a wander, what a brilliant atmosphere in the streets alone then got into the stadium for 6pm. Well what can I say....just looking all around and watching the place fill up, singing along to Tony Hadley (oh my god im showing my age ) The parade was great and then on to the racing, how superb it was! Well done to all Brits and Lee Richardson, well what a little star! I had Leigh Adams backed to win it, how unlucky was I?? Never mind, went out 4 a drink afterwards and only just arrived home, well im off to bed now as I have work at 11.30am Hope everyone enjoyed themselves, I sure enjoyed the Cardiff experience and Oh boy i'll be there next year! Midnight_Lady
i'll be there next year! So will I! I decided to give it a miss this time round and was regretting it from the beginning of the week. It looked the best meeting from Cardiff as far as the racing went and the atmosphere came across really well on the TV Congratulations to Greg Hancock on a marvellous win
Nevs
Dont tell anyone but Crazy Sue has extended her cyber catering business and got herself an access all areas pit pass and was hobnobbing it with the riders in the pits while the rest of us were slumming it!!!!!!!!..ssshhhhh When I say slumming it I use the term loosely, as we of course had "Krissie" and "Shazzybird" looking after us and "Diamonds For Ever" screeching in me ear every two secs at whatever moved fastest on the track--and Im beginning to get the impression she aint the biggest Niki Pedersen fan in the world

crazysue
Right just got back after an incredible day, didn't get to Cardiff untill nearly 4pm and went straight away to Sams bar to meet up with people. When people finally decided to move on to the Prince of Wales we were sort of left behind waiting for Full Throttle to get his bum into gear, after waiting for about 10 minutes on the side of the street (and seeing Mikael Max ad Scotty Nicholls go by) we decided not to wait any longer and to carry on to the pub. Well we got there, saw Norbold outside and thought, nah can't be bothered, lets just go to the stadium and get something to eat and get our flag set up on the barrier. When we were about to go through the turnstile, a lady came up, microphone on and access all areas pass all displayed and said " we will give you anything for that flag (a GP flag from last year), a signed cap,T shirt, anything, we haven't got enough flags for the riders when they win" So my husband jokily said..."pit passes", she said ok and that she would be back in 5 minutes. Well we stood there wondering if we had been taken for a ride or if it was actually true, when she came back......pit passes in hand. We then spent the next hour in the pits, walking up the ramp and taking in the atmosphere. The meeting itself was awesome and I now don't have a voice left after all the screaming I did...and better still, I had Leigh Adams in a sweepstake (got money for 1sr 2nd 3rd) and won a little bit of dosh. I am in the process of adding pictures to my webshots...

Guest Sir Lunchalot
The best bit was when Lee Richardson got excluded and everyone started looking at me coz i was cheering Cheering at a British GP surrounded by 40,000 plus British fans when a British rider comes off his bike ? Either incredibly brave or very stupid, haven't worked out which yet !!
