Great result by KB.

He did show his opponents the way of riding in the Semi and the final.

Maybe it was the "near-fenced" he had in the heat he was excluded in, that made him so determined.

Looking very good for the final later this year. :approve::approve:

I agree garf!

We've just been looking at the Final line up and KB should be right up there! I think there are only 2 riders that could beat him! But i guess you cant rule out any of the 6(?) poles!!

Go KB+Rory!

I think the final will be a little more open than you might think.

Of course Kenneth will be up there, but then you've got Lindback and Lindgren who can beat anyone one there day.

Matej Zagar, Krys Kasprzak, Janusz Koldziej and Piotr Swiderski wil be tough to beat.

Then of course you have Robet Miskowiak who I'd make favourite considering the final is in Wroclaw...his home track.

I don't think you can rule any Pole out of the competition as long they are allowed the "very tough, almost dirty, riding" which they all seem to be practicing for the moment.

Furthermore the final is in Poland, which do put on a lot of preassure on the referee as well. Hopefully there will be a strong ref. with a very strong sense of fairness.

Actually I think that to make a good result in the final, KB has to stay out of trouble with the Poles during the final, and then just be as fast as possible, which means that he has to be on the "safe" side of the opponents away from the fence.

You can not blame Poles. They are just smart guys who are learning very quick. They have noticed what brings success and just try to follow the best rider in the world - the reigning champion Nicky P.

And the small quiz at the end. Try to guess the nationality of their master. :D

Are you suggesting that the Polish riders will get favourable treatment Garf and that they will be "dirty" when you talk about being on the "safe side"?

I don't think it matters where the final is being held. If a rider is good enough to win it they will.

errrr Piotr Świderski is a Wroclaw rider as well (does the home advantage only go to Robert Miśkowiak?)

It will take a strong performance to beat the Poles on home shale (go Matty!).

The form book doesn't look good for Janusz who scored 0 when Tarnow went to Wroclaw! (And the Wroclaw boys were well in control that day.)

Lindback, Lindgren, Zagar, Schlein and (especially) Bjerre all have a decent chance.

But you can't really rule out any of the five poles (I'll bet they'll all have extensive practice at Wroclaw if they want it!) and Korneliussen and The Davidssons are useful enough.

Only Hefenbrock, Smolinski and Eric Andersson's chances look very limited.

Looks a superb Under 21 this year and its a crying shame that Britain can join in the fun.

I'm sure Edward will bounce back into the rankings next year - at least.
