Guest FastGater
Does anyone know where abouts it is? I imagine parking in the city will be a nightmare! Can someone multimap it for me? Thanks
Tick Tock Man
I don't have a map but I think there are about 3 park and ride sites all signposted from the M4 and surrounding roads. One is by Ninnian Park football stadium and one is at the Council Offices towards the docks area.

shazzybird
The first two years we parked in the NCP in the town centre loads of spaces even after arriving at 1pm only thing was they locked the car park at midnight so it was a mad dash once we had eaten our kebabs! Never had any damage to the car apart from the first year Dad left his phone ariel on the car with a Union Jack flag on it and some little numpty decided to snap it and nick the flag, other than that never had any problems and only cost £3.60 for the whole day. Park and ride was a fiver with a fast bus service to the town centre thrown in, found it quicker to walk back though! This year we are in the Holiday Inn right next door to the stadium courtesy of Tabby can anyone tell me if they have their own car park there please? There is a car park around by the Holiday Inn, but I don't know if it's theirs or not. I walk past the damn thing every morning so I'll have a look-see tomorrow! simon.c
As a first timer to Cardiff what is the general opinion - use the park and ride or look for a car park near the stadium. any advice would be appreciated
avenger
As a first timer to Cardiff what is the general opinion - use the park and ride or look for a car park near the stadium.any advice would be appreciated The Park and Ride is very well signposted, easy to find and easy to find again afterwards. I'd go for that for minimum hassle to be honest. There are places that you can park within walking distance of the stadium (eg for free outside my house ), but you need to know where. Driving around the city centre on a Saturday afternoon when you don't really know where you are going is just not worth it.
