MunichMassive replied to STARRGAZER1's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Nice example oleoleole!! He might have forgotten about it. Im sorry for him, and also hope he gets well soon, but these things happen so he should not moan about it. I think he only does cos it was Smolinski, the newcomer. -

Well done bomber i must say... NOT.. I hope he will improve, if not so, i hope he will be wise enuff to recognize that he is just not good enuff for the GP Series. If thats gonna be the case as a consequence i hope he will pull himself out of the GPs and let someone else get a chance who is capable of improving himself. The gating was the bollox! Looked like he didnt do anything over the winter to improve himself. The Rest was a big surprise, i want more of it. I also really liked Crumpy as a commentator even if I didnt like him as a Speedway Rider! Good on ya Crumpy! -
You cant compare Speedway to any other motorsport. In MXGP or MotoGP you got Factory Teams or non Factory Teams but in the end there is always a team where all the riders are employed. The only exception is Chad Reed, Aussie MX Rider who is running his own Team 22 Motorsports and is still racing. You aint got that in Speedway. In those sports there is simply no time to participate in any other competitions. In MotoGP you stay about 4 Days at a Venue, got free practice on Friday, Qualification on Saturday and the actual race on Sunday. At the moment the Supercross WC is running in USA and those guys have to race every week. During the week they are travelling or testing. The Riders in MX or MotoGP do earn a lot more money than than those in Speedway so there would be no reason for them to take part in any other competitions. There are also a lot more riders doing MX or Street Racing worldwide as in Speedway.

Yes why not? Those people love the sport just like us. Of course they want to earn money and have to look at themselves, that is business, but Speedway does benefit from their work. I dont see any reason why not? tell me bout it. they bring in new venues, put it on free tv and so on. If you disagree tell my why.

If this decision by the FIM will not be withdrawn i will cancel my UK Trip, i will not go to the Stockholm GP and i will also stay at home when they host the Prague GP. And so do many others. Polish Fans have their loyalty with ONE Sport and they will also stay away from the GPs.If the FIM and BSI want to bury SGP then go on. This is a very childish act, instead of working against each other they should try to work together in a way. We all want the sport to move forward, why do those people always act against the will of the riders, fans and so on? Basically the riders and the fans keep this sport alive. If the fans stay away from the racing, there wont be speedway no more as we know it. I think even BSI would benefit from a successfull SEC Series, there will be more people watching, maybe attracting new companies to jump in as a sponsor and so on. This is such a shame so i really hope when One Sport going to court, they will be successfull and the guys from FIM will be getting a fat kick in their lazy asses!

News from today... http://speedwayeuro.com/news/n/105/sec-2014-in-germany-.html There will be defo a SEC Round next year in Germany, so far nobody knows where it will be held but i think i will find out soon! "Great numbers of Eurosport TV transmissions watchers behind the West border shows us how huge potential speedway have there. - When we decided to show SEC on Eurosport we knew that we could count on really good watchin' level in Poland. But the numbers of watchers we had in Germany (especially from round in Togliatti) were more than surprising. All of that shows how great potential speedway have on that market and we are all happy that SEC will be on the German ground next year - Adam Wiktorski from Eurosport Poland adds."

"chris Holder Speedway" Wristbands For Sale!
MunichMassive replied to MunichMassive's topic in Souvenirs & Memorabilia etc
Well you should better get some proper information. This is a band with a 2 Color Print and the german producer was one of the cheapest i could find in germany.I invited several offers from different producers. In case of ordering only 100 bands it was not possible to get a better prize. So in Germany im takin 5€ shipping included. If i would of ordered 1000 bands then i could offer it for 1-2 pounds.I wanna be honest with you,i dont really get much out of it.I had the work to create them, invite offers and i have to drive to the post office every time to get them shipped. If you still moan about the prize,i cant help ya.Nobody has to buy it anyway.Primarily I did this for me,cause i wanted to have a Wristband like that. But this only works when buying 100 bands. Before i started this i was trying to get lots of opinions about the bands, and i got lots of positive reply. So i decided to do it!Not to earn lots of money, just to get me a wristband like that and make it also possible for others to get one of these. -

I cant really believe that nobody in UK is interested in those wrist bands???I already sold about 30 bands here in Germany and also a few to aussie. There are still lots available.I did not do this to get rich or somethin and im also not tryin to cheat on anybody. You will get my full address and stuff.I think its a nice "Chris Holder" merchandise which is limited. So get one before they gone. There wont be produced any more of them. regards Christoph -
Hey Guys, I got some Chris Holder Merchandise for ya! I'm from Germany and i ordered 100 wristbands with "Chris Holder Speedway" on it and 2 aussie flags on that band.Pictures below.4 Pounds each... If any of you guys are interested just let me know and write PM. Due to the shipping costs from Germany to UK i could offer a centralized buying and i would send a parcel with all the wanted wristbands to one person in UK who then distributes all the wristbands to all you guys. Maybe theres someone who's keen to do that.Otherwise the shipping costs will be 1 Pound each. That means 5 Pounds in total. Regards

well pardubice, prague, all slovenian tracks, gorican, and maybe some more have got airfence already... i hope it willl be more soon!!but you have to note that most of the german clubs have pretty long tracks so its a lot more to pay than in UK. There is no money for airfences and no support from our federation.they want us to get them but they ain't making it possible. Olching already ordered one but had countermand cos now they got problems with a neighbor who's complaining about noise and missing building permit. although it was built back in 1951.now they need their money for an optionally upcoming lawsuit. -

Well in the Video i can see that Petersen crashes into the fence by hitting it first with his legs!!!.That probably caused the broken lumbar vertebra and being paralyzed. In case of having an airfence there i think there wouldnt have been an injury like that. This wooden fence is really really hard. on his homepage www.petersen-racingteam.de he says "I won’t stay lie down!!! I will be back on!" -

Well it could've been avoided because ref mick bates wanted to stop the race because of unsatisfying start. but he didnt turn on red lights right after the start.as i could see he did that as the first 2 riders entered turn 3.that was too late and the crash happend between turn 3 and 4.unfortunately there was no airfence installed This crash was not nessesary, neither was the result of the crash. -

We have been informed on german speedway forum that Germany's Team member Sönke Petersen is paraplegic from now on due to a heavy crash in Heat 5. I can't really believe it,and i'm very sad now. This is a heavy blow to german speedway.i wish him all the best for his future, and i hope he can deal with it. -
no it was a tangle between barker and tadiello... they got stuck..was a stupid crash..and bens bike landed on his foot i guess..not sure..was running so fast.

MunichMassive replied to i love tractors's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
i can tell you that its not the tracks fault. At individual Meetings like Tomicek Memorial the track is always really good and allows lots of passing. so the racing is always exciting there.but at gps its gettin worse and worse every year.but i have to say yesterday was actually really good cause there were some surprises..but the racing itself was not that much world class....unfortunately.....i was really lookin forward to it havin beer and crackers next to me... i was expecting a bit more but anyway, was good to see some speedway and emil riding and winning his first ever gp... lookin forward to leszno -
now i heard it is probably a broken fibula.
-
no,he has broken his right leg. i've been there.right after he crashed,he put off his helmet and said my leg is broken. what bone excactly i dont know.but he didn look like he had horrible pain.he looked pretty normal.. so i hope its not so bad cause for me he was one of the best today.he had a few lines that nobody else had ridden. was with his back wheel right next to the white inside line while riding in the gras with the front wheel.awesome style. pretty unfortunate day for him also he was doing well so far. could be a massive blow for the bees.
