I'm sorry, but I am just not impressed with this top 5. I think they would have to perform, out of their skin, to make the play offs. No big hitter in there, (Scotty Nicholls well on the downslide), pretty ordinary for me. Just my opinion though.

I think you are missing the point, that Steve Park, (and THJ), is making. Newcastle, do not have a sponsors licence, so he could not get a work permit and visa. A sponsors licence is also not picked up quickly.

I am sure, the Redcar promotion, would love to use Jacob, at reserve. Unfortunately, it does not tally, with their strategy, of having a strong top 5. Being able to track a 4 point reserve is a luxury, they can't afford. Jacob is a lovely lad, an enthusiastic racer, who deserves some success, but he is on an assessed 4 point average, (it can't be lower) which he still has not achieved. I have no doubt he will improve and probably go over 4 points, but at this time, I don't think it will be with Redcar. He is a trier and entertaining and who knows, down the stretch of the season, Redcar may be able to accommodate him, if he is available.

Birmingham Brummies 2020

I don't believe it has anything to do with his average. His visa (last year), allowed him only to ride in the Premier league. He would need to re- apply, for a visa to ride in the championship and another to ride in the Premier. -
That is fantastic news. This should be the start for another fantastic team.

Ooh, that's harsh, bordering on cruel, but not necessarily without some truth.

Sorry, don't want to be pedantic, but the grandstand burnt down in 86. -

I'll drink to that. -
Sorry to interrupt your downer Ruff, but didn't Stevie Worrall, score 14 + 1, (paid max), when these 2 sides, met a month ago.

I think, you have a great chance, of seeing some great speedway, on Friday night. Not so sure, the weather will play ball, on Sunday though.

Correct.

If that tie comes to pass. Then Glasgow's away leg, would be on Friday the 18th of October.

What, Perks retired because he wasn't in the running for points. -

Good for you, I sincerely hope, you are right. You miss my point. I said the lower order (reserves and 2nd strings) would be exposed, I expect the heat leaders to hold their own. It's just my opinion though. -

It could be close, but ultimately, I think Redcar's lower order will be exposed. Oh how I would love to be wrong. -

That was not, a typical Redcar meeting. The track was very heavy, (due to the weather) and consequently the outside line was not effective. The racing wasn't great to be honest, but it was about getting it on. I think it affected some of the Redcar riders, (when they missed the gate), but credit to Douglas and Mountain, who were excellent for Leicester. The tie is still alive (just), Leicester had a couple of lucky breaks, last night, maybe Redcar might get some in the away leg. -

No he is referring to the Glasgow / Scunthorpe match at Glasgow. When the track conditions were not to the home teams liking. -

I think, the contribution of Nathan Greaves, will be a key factor, in this meeting. If Redcar, are to make a significant lead, to take to Leicester, then the tail of the team, has to at least, hold its own. Nathan has struggled recently, to make the contributions, that he is capable of. -

Be interesting, to see. Who the Lions, select as a guest, for the Redcar leg. Due to circumstances, not a lot of choice. Adam Ellis, might be best bet, Lewis Kerr and Ben Barker could come into the reckoning, with maybe Kyle Howarth and even Garrity. Should be revealed soon. -

Yeah, would always want MPT, first and foremost (if fit). I don't think R/R adequately covers for him. -

That does not bode well, for tomorrow night. If he isn't fit, then if it is possible, I hope the management, give Ryan Douglas a call. -

Apparently, as he was not guesting and riding for his official club, that rule will not apply. He is seemingly free to take the guest booking.
