In ht15, if the Scorps pair "gated" like Godfrey did when he left the stadium, it would have all been "done and dusted".

Not sure it could be Summers, he guested here 4 days ago.

Lovely sunshine at the moment. Could be possibility of showers, but generally set fair for match time. -

I would not bet against him being fit. What with the recuperative powers, of the Teesside air and all. -

Newcastle v Leicester 12th June 2022
sidewinder replied to justathought's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
It's heartbreaking to say it, but I have believed, for a few years now, that if Newcastle speedway, stay at Brough park, they are on death row. Analysis of it shows, the stadium owners, merely tolerate the speedway. Charge a whopping rent for the privilege and literally give the speedway the lickings of a dog, for that. Due to the constraints placed on the promotion, they cannot attract top riders, most are not happy riding there, as it is a relic of a bygone era. The time that it can run meetings does not make it appealing to riders either. If Newcastle speedway has a future, then it is away from Brough park. It needs to be able to have some control, over its own destiny. I am certainly not saying, this is an easy option, but the alternative is a certain death, ( probably fairly quick). -

They haven't lost it yet, but agreed it will depend on which Adam Roynon and Kasper Andersen turn up. -

Sorry, but with respect, if you had been at the Ecco arena, last night , you might want to revise your score forecast. Bears carrying more passengers than Stagecoach. -
Poole Pirates Vs Newcastle Diamonds 11/5/22

I honestly don't think he will have a problem, in his next away match, (Redcar). He always goes well there and I would expect him to probably have 7 rides. -
If its such a good view, then I suggest, we put the refs box there.
-
That would be from your position about a 100 yards away on the back straight.
-
In your opinion of course.
-
I believe, Nick Morris was initially ejected from the meeting, for his starting gate actions, then reinstated after several phone calls
-
Again no dodgy reffing, just people not in a position, to make that decision, making accusations. Three people on the line all gave it to Riss, me, Ryan Nassa, and most importantly the ref. Again 2 feet over the line, Morris was in front, but its the line that counts.

I would be amazed, if Leicester didn't get at least a point. It will be fairly tight.
-
I actually meant, Lions recent performances, at Redcar (over the last 2 seasons).
-
If recent performances at Redcar, are anything to go by, the lions must be at least good for a point, maybe more. Redcar's bottom 4, need to score at least 15 points, between them, to bring about a win.

If I was a Brum fan, (I'm not), I would certainly be asking, who made the decisions, for ht 15. Adam Ellis, fair enough, Josh Auty, tried hard all night, but his gating was terrible, but OK (only possible alternative was Vissing). Then to take gates 1 and 3 (a bit of a shock in itself) and put Ellis off 1 (after he had just won off 4). With a poorly gating Auty off 3, Lewi Kerr had a free run off the outside. Brum only needed a shared heat to get a point, it's unbelievable that those decisions would make that so difficult.
