  1. It's far from over. Poole in with a decent shot still. The way most of their riders, go round the Ecco arena, they could win this leg.
  2. Yes. Midland Development League, Redcar v Brummies. Followed by 125 competition.
  3. I like that, but I suspect he's already had a call. I have been saying from the get go, this season, that the tail, was woefully weak. This applies especially at Redcar (example Danyon Hume 4 matches, prior to this season, 15 rides 12 points ) hardly startling pedigree. Connor Bailey has only had 1meeting at Redcar (from memory) didn't score much. Jake Mulford only been once before (from memory) and Jeffo might be right about his suitability. If we persist with these riders, (not saying we shouldn't) then they have to grasp the nettle, roll their sleeves up and come out fighting.
  4. Correct. So that looks like, its between, Craig Cook, Rory Schlien, or maybe Tom Brennan. If any will oblige.
  5. Absolutely spot on. I think this is a nailed on, last heat decider and thats just for the match points.
  6. Sorry, but its not that simple. With Edinburgh entertaining Glasgow, that night and Poole entertaining Oxford, it would come down to Berwick and Plymouth, to choose from. Supposing they had suitably averaged riders and they were available.
  7. Not sure Redcar, will win all their home meetings in the BSN series. Scunthorpe will be a stern test of that on Friday.
  8. I understand the logic behind that. The reality is though, that a 12 point win at Redcar, doesn't happen that often. With the aggregate point in play, Redcar will struggle, unless everybody contributes and circumstances are not going to work in your favour, very often, as they did against Berwick.
  9. To be fair, I don't think Scunthorpe is Danny's favourite track. Maybe people will see that Redcar's tail, isn't that strong( Edwards not included). Not advocating a change in personnel, just hoping they improve.
  10. Agreed, their reserve pair were of quality, (especially Mountain, Bowtelle has never barely scored a point around Redcar). We need our second stings to come the party, because if their reserves get a couple apiece, we could be struggling. Has anyone seen Danyon Humes scores around Redcar. I think the best is 5 from 5 with Poole, the rest well below that. Don;t get me wrong I would love to see him succeed. I live in hope.
  11. It's just a matter of opinion, but 0 points from 6 rides from 3 of the tail doesn't bode well.
  12. That should be a given with Redcars weak tail. It might be enough overall.
  13. Anders, is a pretty good, hard riding speedway rider. Unfortunately, where it all goes wrong, is in the " gating department". Here is where Anders is among the most inconsistent in the championship and thats being generous.
  14. That might not be far away. Not sure that Newman would figure though.
  15. I think you are correct, when you say only 3 from last years team, but I would be amazed if Erik Riss was not there. I also think, we will have 3 genuine heat leaders.
  16. It also depends on what the final line up is. I would be very surprised, if Charles wasn't there, but Jordan could be a different proposition. Very difficult to cover for on recent form.
  17. It was announced, that he was helping Jonny Swales out, last night.
