  1. We have one who's lost interest in the sport and is just going through the motions as far as I can see and one that was never going to set the world alight and now seems to be going backwards.
  2. Maybe better if we use Kent 1 and 5 and let Plymouth have 2 of ours ))
  3. No, but its our track and we wont play if they wont take them
  4. Maybe we can lend them a couple of our riders to even it up a bit
  5. How about in 2012 when first PL match was ridden with R/R for Jordan Frampton, Guest for Chris Neath and either guest or late signing for Nelson (Can't remember which) ??? Not the best of starts to a season.
  6. Sid I think he will ride against Glasgow on Friday and then will be r/r against us on Saturday.
  7. Rob Mear replaced at Lakeside by Kevin Doolan, so he can now concentrate on Rye House commitments.
  8. According to website Michel Bech is still registered to ride in Malilla on June 8th. http://www.svemo.se/sv/Grenar/Speedway/Nyheter/StartlistaJEMSemifinalMalilla/
  9. Well, if you sit in the visitors stand, what do you expect. Why not come and stand with the home supporters ?
  10. Yes, Rob has been at all Rockets home fixtures this year. I spoke to him a couple of times and he did his normal reply the same as last year. 'I wont be back and ride in the not so good PL for a sub standard team like the Rockets' or words to that effect Took it with a pinch of salt as you have with most of what people say down the Rye ))
  11. As Rob Mear comes in on 7.40 and we have about 2.7 to spare. It will have to be one of the main body of riders that makes way, or both reserves and a 3 pointer comes in. Olly will leave us as before with points to spare and weak at number 1 Anders has so much potential to increase his average by a lot Nelson the same as Anders Cant drop Jase G when hes fit and ready to come back Jason Bunyan, would be very harsh to let him go. If I was held a gun point and told to choose I am afraid it would be Jason Bunyan This is all very hypothetical and it may be that Rob is rubbish or has lost the passion for racing or god forbid we may get another injury before Jason G if fit to return. I DONT KNOW
  12. Are any existing riders underperforming enough to be replaced ?
  13. Now Rob Mear has been rested/replaced from Lakeside team, will he become a more permanent fixture in Rockets team ? Can we accomodate him when Jason G returns ? Will Len be ruthless enough to change existing riders to get Rob in ? Members thoughts ? Could be interesting, but going on historical evidence Len will stay true to the original declared 1-7 and Rob will either be lost to Rockets or the sport completely.
  14. Fairly satisfied with that news and I bet Craig is well happy that he doesn't have to think of a new nickname for the rider. The return of the 'Mearkat', simples. Doh.
  15. Latest Update from Rye House website The latest word on broken leg victim Jason Garrity is as positive as can be in the situation. The 19 year old has suffered a simple break – with no complications - to his left leg, which is now in plaster. Just as fortunately, his eye injury has proven a superficial one. Garrity’s absence is expected to be approximately six weeks, although as Rye House supremo Len Silver admits, “Knowing Jason, he will probably try to get that down to four to five weeks.” Silver and team manager John Sampford are already hard at work exploring a number of options to bring in a replacement rider on a temporary basis. Both are aiming to have the new man in place in time for the Rockets’ next fixture, which is at home to Plymouth in the League Cup next Sunday (May 26th @ 4pm). For a replacement rider, please read rider replacement to be on teamsheet again.
  16. You going tonight Shads ? First Home speedway meeting for years I think I am going to miss out on. With all the messing around and breaks in riding I have got out of the regular habit and have things to do early evening, then will go home and watch recorded GP.
  17. At this point in time Sorry I didn't know this rule. I presume riders like Piscz raced on UK licences ??
  18. I see Dawid Stachyra is being dropped from Poole. Lots and lots of ifs and buts, but can be fitted in if Len re-declares ? Also seen that Lakeside might be having a shuffle round with Ulamek being signed, I think most likely to be straight swop for Swiderski or Bridger depending on June averages.
  19. Is Luke coming back to racing again, if so when ?
  20. Well look at bottom end of Elite teams ? Mear (again) Nillson Thorsell Covatti and I hear T Rick is back on a bike again, his average must have reduced enough by now
  21. How about redeclaring with Adam Roynon ? He states that he's felling ready to start riding again. I think he comes in under 7.71 SNAP just where I was going
  22. That must really stick in some posters throats that Len picked a rider who managed to ride way above his average.
  23. Lykke and Lambert at reserve certainly make us stronger if Lambert is fully recovered and rides like we know he can at Sheffield. Go Rockets ))
