I'm missing out on seeing any speedway recently, due to rain offs etc. So I will see you there. Hope Linus gets back in time, not expecting much from anybody else. -

If anybody can read or translate Polish, I am sure that K Kasprzak says he will be racing at Rye House on 14th March and Peterborough on 19th March, on his 'kasperacing' website. Leaves just one name to be filled in, any ideas ???? -

Extra Parking for Ben Fund Meeting. I think it will most probably be the old Turnford Surfacing site opposite Rye House Station. Only about 100m from entrance to stadium car park. -

End of 2nd bend, back straight and start of 3rd bend all have concrete steps and areas to put a couple of deck chairs. New seating now installed on first bend and 3rd/4th bend. I think ??? -

Theres a new Travel Lodge at the A10/M25 junction. Very easy access to Rye House from there, about 10 mins normally. -

Great way to start the season, well deserved by Len for all his hard work to improve the stadium and all the Rye supporters who consistently give very generously to all speedway related causes. And for the doubters who whinge on about the track being such a home advantage. I wonder if you would like to put money on a home winner ???? Maybe Luke to beat Jason Crump and Leigh Adams ???? If not just be quiet, enjoy the speedway and dig deep into your pockets. Personally I think Tai to be in the frame, but hten again he has home track knowledge and is a very good rider. Can't wait for the season to start. -
I think Len looked long and hard into who he would send to the PLRC and decided; Linus (sick note) Robert Mear (sick note) Tommy (sick note) Andrew Silver (sick note) Joe Haines (knackered after U21 championship) Dan Halsey (knackered after NLRC championship) Luke (busy) So he chose between the rider(s) available. Its the taking part that counts not the winning as they say when they have FA chance of winning. But I would still cheer him on all the way as I am not one of our fairweather fans.

And the reason that speedway is safe at Rye House is because of Len Silver and his sensible management. I applaud the man and the knowledge that speedway is safe at Rye and welcome back riders who have helped us be at the forefront of Premier League speedway over the last few years. Eddie Kennett, Stuart Robson and Daniel King ( now injured). I enjoy my Saturday nights at Rye and my visits around the country following the Rockets seeing mainly young British riders, many promoted from the Raiders/Cobras and wish it to continue long into the future. If this means astute financial management and not paying superstar wages to mediocre riders then so be it. -
Whoever rides for Rye House they will not be short of support. Along with anybody else going from Rye, there will be 40/50 of us on the SSA coach stopping in Somerset on our way to seeing Eddie Kennet win and hopefully if recovered Tai get a couple of race wins at the Grand Prix. Ever the optimist The only real question of the weekend is Tommy's bike strong enough to tow Chris around with him and give him the slipstream to win each race. Just like he does with Tai everyweek at Rye. More pills please doctor

Dear Mr Chapman You may have noticed that the 'Rye House Rockets' have encountered a few small problems. ie Two of our heat leaders have received recent injuries and are not available to ride on Friday at the 'PL Pairs'. I have been informed that you may have two riders who are not doing anything on this evening. So I thought maybe that Mr Doolan and Mr Topinka may like to ride for us on that night. Regards Rye House
