  1. I am in that position where my 2020 season will rollover to 2021, hopefully we will see speedway then. I`m sure the promotions will get all relevant information out when the time comes. A lot can happen in four months.
  2. https://www.speedwaygp.com/news/article/8723/kildemand-swedish-deal-raises-aces?fbclid=IwAR0stu_joou_Vc7F_clQ_ACXHGeG07gOoVbcKG19fnHhqY-vyTosnyqlVkk
  3. Refund for the tickets for this years SoN all sorted, thanks to all.
  4. I see no credible reason to change any rules for 2021, I thought all the clubs had agreed that. Seems Glasgow arent to happy https://www.glasgowtigers.org/club-statement-bspa-21/
  5. Four and twenty of them were baked in a pie.
  6. Haven't seen anything, maybe you could keep an eye on this site over the next few weeks for the news you are looking for. http://www.speedway-prague.cz/
  7. Sad news today on the passing of Ken Marshall.
  8. Leon has has connections to the Rybnik club in recent times, its great to see him getting a contract with a European league, whether he gets a regular team place in Polish League One could be a different matter. Maybe ROW Rybnik will loan him out to a Polish League Two team that will see him get a more regular chance, something similar to what Anders Rowe did this season.
  9. I`ve had mine on a regular bases every Thursday right through lock down, its credit to all at Speedway Star to keep on producing a quality weekly magazine in what must be trying times both on and off track.
  10. I would find that unlikely as June 21st next year is a Monday.
  11. I take you have evidence to back your allegation.
  12. Seems he is waiting until the end of the transfer window at the end of November https://www.przegladsportowy.pl/zuzel/pge-ekstraliga/zuzel-antonio-lindback-chce-zakonczyc-zuzlowa-kariere/01kldyh?utm_source=www.przegladsportowy.pl_viasg_przegladsportowy
  13. Newcastle Speedway get green light for 2021. After a very challenging and stressful 2020, with numerous issues going on behind the scenes, including an HMRC investigation from the period before the new managements took over, which ultimately gave sole director Rob Grant no other alternative but to appoint an insolvency practitioners company to wind up the company that operated the Newcastle Diamonds speedway team. After plenty of discussions, and sorting various issues out with the liquidation officer, Greg Whitehead of Northpoint Insolvency Practitioners, club owner Rob Grant can, with relief, confirm Newcastle Diamonds will take to the track at the Newcastle stadium in 2021 trading under a new company, NEWCASTLE DIAMONDS LTD. Grant added: "This certainly has been a rollercoaster of a year and we haven't even turned a wheel in anger. The challenging times we have just gone through have, at times, given myself a bit of a reality check, but I'm committed and enthusiastic as ever to ensure Newcastle Speedway continues. "I am the sole director of the new company and I want everyone to know that I'm raring to get this show on the road. "The new company will honour the benefits of the season tickets purchased as well as all the fantastic sponsorship packages we obtained earlier this year for 2021. "I can't thank you all enough for your support and look forward to seeing you all next season."
  14. Press Release Speedway Liquidation Newspeed 2003 Limited, the company behind the Newcastle Speedway team, is to go into Liquidation. The Liquidator, Greg Whitehead of Northpoint Insolvency Practitioners, commented ‘the combined impact of Covid and historical HMRC liabilities has led the current director to place the Company into Liquidation. Rob Grant, who is the current sole Director of the Company having been appointed last in 2019 added: ‘Liabilities arising from an HMRC investigation, covering the period before I became a Director, mean that there is no alternative but to wind the company up, but it is hopeful that speedway in the area will continue through a new company. ' It is every intention the new company will honour the benefits of season tickets already purchased aswell as any sponsorship.' End 27 October 2020
  15. Surely where ever possible teams will remain the same as las season, we have already seen clubs announce that.
  16. Looking at the rain currently falling at Old Trafford I think the chances seeing any speedway tonight would be remote.
  17. The changes to the track are welcome ones and hopefully do the trick to improve the racing, however to describe it as a new circuit is slightly wide of the mark. If/when we get back to regular team racing maybe Berwick can use that as an excuse if they get off to a poor start.
  18. I only received my email just over a week ago so there`s still a chance that yours hasn't been sent yet. As previously mentioned the email gives you the chance of a refund if you include your order reference number, you then get a reply saying there will be a delay to responding to any emails. Hope you get sorted soon.
  19. Could anyone put together a calendar foe 2021 with any certainty.
  20. Taken from AccuWeather https://www.accuweather.com/en/gb/berwick-upon-tweed/td15-2/weather-forecast/325049
  21. Says everything about Garrity as a person that he picked on two people who wouldn't put up any kind of resistance, a bed bound man and a disabled lady. Hopefully Garrity will use his time inside to good use and come out a better person, sadly I doubt he has the sense to do that.
  22. Tomorrows forecast could be best described as a mixed bag https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655819
  23. And there in lies the problem, when a rider like either of the Worralls, Charles Wright etc can earn a very decent living riding in two leagues over here why would they want to try Poland or Sweden, maybe a little to much out of their comfort zone.
  24. Once the decision had been made to rush the meeting through to Ht14 then call it I think most of the rules went out the window.
