  1. Latest from Berwick, fixture update, admission prices etc https://www.berwickspeedway.com/news/double-trouble-2/
  2. Listening to Harkess and Campbell on Friday, they seem to be making definite plans for this season to run.
  3. Edinburgh team for 2021 Sam Masters Ritchie Worrall Josh Pickering Kai Thomson William Lawson Joe Lawlor Nathan Greaves
  4. Looks like the first fixture for the Berwick team will be Armadale away
  5. Updated fixture list from Birmingham http://www.birmingham-speedway.com/fixtures21
  6. Glasgow announced their rising star signing just the other day, why do that if you had no intention of running.
  7. Press release coming up at 6pm on the Kent site regarding team news.
  8. Berwick`s first two signings are Kyle Bickley and Leon Flint.
  9. Berwick join the National Development League http://speedwaygb.co.uk/news.php?extend.38635
  10. Berwick upon Tweed in English and in England, and let us all be thankful for that at least.
  11. So all being well Berwick should start the season on 22nd May with a home match against Birmingham, meaning away meetings at Eastbourne and Glasgow as well as home meetings with Glasgow and Scunthorpe to be re-arranged, not unless the powers that be rewrite the fixture list all over again.
  12. Seems that the Glasgow rising star is indeed Connor Bailey.
  13. If clubs have to run with reduced numbers, what is the capacity of the like of Wolves where only the home straight can be used. For the like of my team, Berwick, running at 25% should be a problem as Shielfield Park has a capacity of 4000.
  14. i would be surprised if that were true, if it is they could've run last season but didn't. For any speedway to run they need people in the stadium.
  15. Speedway cannot run without fans in the stadium, whether clubs will need to make a choice that they can run with restricted numbers could be another question.
  16. I believe Ruddick is based in the Suffolk area, but as a ex-Edinburgh rider he must stand a chance.
  17. Bowtell has an average for the end of the 2019 season while riding for Eastbourne of 3-10
  18. To be fair James Sarjeant has has plenty opportunity over the seasons to impress, yet seldom has.
  19. So its James Sargeant who makes way https://www.edinburghmonarchs.co.uk/news-centre/article/2021-02-19/monarchs-make-change-for-2021
  20. First time for everything, but the numbers on vaccinations along with positive Covid cases, hospital admissions, deaths etc seem to be heading in the right direction. Whether we get a full league, KOC programme could be another matter of course.
  21. Very possible, certainly for a May start, however the summer months will see a natural reduction in Covid cases added to that an increase in the number of vaccinations I am optimistic we will see speedway this summer. At a guess through the summer months of June, July and August.
  22. Looks like the Championship fixtures will be released in the next hour or so.
  23. Looks like the Championship fixtures will be out in the next hour
  24. Wouldn't know about how keen Kyle Bickley was to do Premiership this season but I know Leon was very keen, sadly for him the phone didn't ring.
  25. The rising stars signings for the Premiership clubs makes sense in most cases, but with no dis-respect to the riders intended, how on earth Josh Bates and Tom Bacon can be described as rising stars is beyond me. They have clubs yet someone like Leon Flint is left on the sidelines.
