  1. Perfectly acceptable then that Kent were allowed R/R, here`s me thinking there was something iffy.
  2. I wonder what odds you would've got that saw Motor Lublin on top of the Extra League right now.
  3. Leon Flint scored 4pts while guesting today for Plymouth at Scunthorpe.
  4. Quite correct, its not as if they haven't had enough time to sort all this. Not my original thought but by the end of the night six teams will have completed meetings in the Championship, only one will have tracked their declared one to seven. Scunthorpe and Plymouth are the latest to enter the guest fest with Berwick`s Leon Flint taking the place of the injured Henry Atkins while Kyle Howarth takes the place of Tero Aarnio who would rather ride in Poland this afternoon. Barmy.
  5. Berwick were advised by Birmingham that Grobaur was taking part, or at least on stand by for the SEC meeting the Czech Republic last night, the rider didn't take his place in the meeting nor it seems was on stand by, so should Birmingham have had their guest. Taken from last nights programme. " Fellow German Valentin Grobauer had Polish league commitments last night is is also on stand by for the SEC in case former Kings Lynn man Kai Huckenbeck fails to recover from an injury picked up in Denmark last wee " Huckenbeck didn't race in the meeting but then neither did Grobauer who was supposed to be his replacement, would that not take away Birmingham`s facility for a guest.
  6. Great to be back watching live sport and it is true that sport is nothing without fans. Entry and exit to the stadium seemed to work well and was easy to follow, admittedly I did get to the track earlier than normal so avoided any cueing, exiting was just as easy with the extra doors opened at the back of the stand, so well done to all. Congratulations to Birmingham on their win, thoroughly deserved, they took advantage of Berwick`s bad luck losing Jye Etheridge in Ht3 and ran out comfortable winners. Decent night for our two reserves but last night showed Berwick cannot cover for the absent Coty Garcia medium or long term, if a replacement is called for and in the current circumstances I wouldn't know where another rider could come from, hopefully the management will have looked at this already. Home defeats are no good at anytime, lets hope for a first home win next Saturday against Scunthorpe.
  7. The Coty Garcia situation needs addressing as you say, looking at this I don't see it getting better anytime soon. http://global.chinadaily.com.cn/a/202105/23/WS60a99543a31024ad0bac0c9b.html
  8. It would be great to know exactly what meeting Grobauer was in for Birmingham to be granted a guest facility. Maybe he was a reserve for the reserves.
  9. Forecast can be described as iffy https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2650497
  10. Torun have two riders in Holder and Meidinski that will do well at home but not so great away, on the nights when they both struggle Torun will be on the wrong end of a defeat.
  11. Weather has been rotten in Berwick today but thankfully its a better forecast for tomorrow. https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655819
  12. I wouldn't know on your first point, but I do find it bizarre that Berwick Speedway wont or don't interact with their fans on social media.
  13. Good grief, if Hurry has so much desire he could be at Glasgow tonight. Anyway get well soon
  14. Maybe taking over the I don't like driving to Scotland award from Mr Garrity.
  15. Tonights meeting is off https://www.edinburghmonarchs.co.uk/news-centre/article/2021-05-21/match-postponed-monarchs-v-devils-postponed-due-to-rain
  16. Ticket update http://www.kingslynn-speedway.com/_mobile/news.php?extend.31075
  17. Berwick`s Danny Gappmaier getting a bit of practice for Saturday night as he takes his place in the Edinburgh challenge meeting at Armadale tomorrow night.
  18. As mentioned Scott Nicholls guests for Erik Riss while Broc Nicol guests for Grobauer, I also hear Berwick go with R/R for Coty Garcia who is on Covid lockdown.
  19. Absolutely, what disappoints more is this is Berwick`s and Birmingham`s first meeting of a new season. The SEC Challenge meeting would've been in the diary for some time so this could've been avoided.
  20. I get the reason for have to reserve a seat place but with the space over on the back straight I`m sure you will be fine.
  21. Giving the restrictions on crowd numbers I `d be amazed if that is true.
