  1. Much more of this and you`ll be on the naughty step.
  2. Leon Flint makes his track return tonight for Wolves as they take on Belle Vue.
  3. I see Leon Flint is included for this meeting, injury allowing. He is due at Glasgow Friday then Berwick Saturday before heading to Germany. Is it possible to get from Berwick Saturday night over to Germany for a two thirty start
  4. Berwick`s away fixture that was rained off the other week at Mildenhall has been re-arranged for Sunday September 26th.
  5. If fit Leon Flint is likely to miss our away fixture at Newcastle on August 1st as he has been selected to ride for Team GB in the European Under-23 Team Championship. The meeting is to be held at Brokstedt Germany with a 14-30 start time, whether he can get from Berwick next Saturday to Germany next Sunday after I wouldn't know. Teams below Line up for Brokstedt Denmark J.Jeppesen M.Hansen Seifert-Selk T.Sorsensen B.Basso Germany M.Härtel L.Fienhage S.Wasserman M.Hildebrand N.Blödorn Finland T.Salonen A.Vuolas N.Sayrio T.Hyyrlainen GB T.Brennan J.Palin D.Gilkes L.Flint D.Kemp
  6. IMO a race card for £1 is all you need for speedway nowadays, I get a programme at Berwick each week turn to the race card section and never bother with the hackaty hack in-between.
  7. Rumour tonight at Berwick that Thomas Jorgensen could well be the guest at Berwick next Saturday.
  8. How wrong can you be, great effort from Mildenhall to go so close and but for a fall while in second place for Sam Hagon they might just have pinched it. Very impressive from you Hagon, rider of the night IMO. Thankfully for Berwick our top two pulled things round in the last heat decider.
  9. Fair play to the Redcar promotion for doing that.
  10. Was it the referee who was blinded by the light or his guide dog.
  11. There are many who feel the same I think, I bought a season pass two years ago for the first time ever, and re-newed at the start of last season. I then took the option of not taking a refund and let the season ticket roll over to this season. I am very un-decided at the minute about next year.
  12. Giving Berwick`s last performance in the Championship that`s no bad thing.
  13. Thanks to injury and other meetings unfortunately Mildenhall come with a weakened team, that should mean a very comfortable home win.
  14. Kyle Bickley continues his guest appearances this week, this time with a tv match for Sheffield against Peterborough at Owlerton.
  15. Good luck to Kyle Bickley tonight as he guests for Poole in their home meeting with Plymouth.
  16. Thanks to the guys at Mildenhall we at least have a preview for Saturday`s meeting. From Mildenhall Speedway - Fen Tigers head North in search of League points This Saturday evening, the Mildenhall Fen Tigers, proudly sponsored by Manchetts Rescue and Recovery, head to Berwick in search of important League points following Sunday’s close home defeat to Kent. For a second meeting running the Fen Tigers will be without No 1 Jason Edwards who is with Eastbourne on Championship duty and will also miss Captain Jordan Jenkins who after bravely riding over the weekend has suffered further issues with his wrist and has wisely decided to rest for 12 days and will look to return to the Fen Tigers colours on Sunday 1st August. Edwards absence will be covered by Armadale’s Danny Phillips whilst Jenkins will be covered by Rider Replacement. Team Manager Malcolm Vasey said – “Losing Jason for a second meeting is obviously disappointing, but with a heavily delayed start to the season due to covid, the best part of 20 rain offs already in the Championship, and a cut off date in that league of September 19th clubs are struggling to fulfil their fixtures and we are suffering for this just now. I know Jason is desperate to ride for us and no blame is attached to him, Jordan rode with the heart of a lion over the weekend showing immense courage, but has to be sensible as we would not want him out for a long period of time and we fully support his decision. Injuries are part and parcel of this wonderful sport and that’s now two riders we are missing from our starting seven. We still await concrete news from Arran Butcher but his injury is taking longer to heal than we hoped and it may be a while yet before he is in contention for a team spot. We know it will be no easy task at Berwick, but if we can make a faster start than we did on Sunday I feel confident we have a good chance of bringing some points back to West Row” The club are currently working with the Berwick management to find a suitable date for the rained off home NDL fixture and hope to be able to advise supporters in the next week of a new date. Teams – Berwick Bullets - 1 Kyle Bickley 8.57 (C), 2 Mason Watson 4.30, 3 Luke Crang 6.41, 4 Kieran Douglas 3.83, 5 Greg Blair 7.41, 6 Ryan MacDonald 3.00, 7 Ben Rathbone 3.83 Fen Tigers - 1.Danny Phillips 7.53, 2 R/R (Jordan Jenkins) 6.55, 3 Elliot Kelly 3.62, 4 Luke Ruddick 6.67, 5 Sam Bebee 4.25, 6 Sam Hagon 3.00, 7 Luke Muff 3.00
  17. Ritchie Worrall is ill so good old R/R gets another run out for Belle Vue at the No2 position.
  18. Looks like Scott Nicholls will be at Eastbourne today as guest.
  19. Last night was due to be the night of the British SGP but that was cancelled a while ago.
  20. How would Nicholls be banned, he is riding as a guest. If he cant make it to Eastbourne then Leicester will find another guest.
