  1. How wrong can you be, great effort from Mildenhall to go so close and but for a fall while in second place for Sam Hagon they might just have pinched it. Very impressive from you Hagon, rider of the night IMO. Thankfully for Berwick our top two pulled things round in the last heat decider.
  2. Fair play to the Redcar promotion for doing that.
  3. Was it the referee who was blinded by the light or his guide dog.
  4. There are many who feel the same I think, I bought a season pass two years ago for the first time ever, and re-newed at the start of last season. I then took the option of not taking a refund and let the season ticket roll over to this season. I am very un-decided at the minute about next year.
  5. Giving Berwick`s last performance in the Championship that`s no bad thing.
  6. Thanks to injury and other meetings unfortunately Mildenhall come with a weakened team, that should mean a very comfortable home win.
  7. Kyle Bickley continues his guest appearances this week, this time with a tv match for Sheffield against Peterborough at Owlerton.
  8. Good luck to Kyle Bickley tonight as he guests for Poole in their home meeting with Plymouth.
  9. Thanks to the guys at Mildenhall we at least have a preview for Saturday`s meeting. From Mildenhall Speedway - Fen Tigers head North in search of League points This Saturday evening, the Mildenhall Fen Tigers, proudly sponsored by Manchetts Rescue and Recovery, head to Berwick in search of important League points following Sunday’s close home defeat to Kent. For a second meeting running the Fen Tigers will be without No 1 Jason Edwards who is with Eastbourne on Championship duty and will also miss Captain Jordan Jenkins who after bravely riding over the weekend has suffered further issues with his wrist and has wisely decided to rest for 12 days and will look to return to the Fen Tigers colours on Sunday 1st August. Edwards absence will be covered by Armadale’s Danny Phillips whilst Jenkins will be covered by Rider Replacement. Team Manager Malcolm Vasey said – “Losing Jason for a second meeting is obviously disappointing, but with a heavily delayed start to the season due to covid, the best part of 20 rain offs already in the Championship, and a cut off date in that league of September 19th clubs are struggling to fulfil their fixtures and we are suffering for this just now. I know Jason is desperate to ride for us and no blame is attached to him, Jordan rode with the heart of a lion over the weekend showing immense courage, but has to be sensible as we would not want him out for a long period of time and we fully support his decision. Injuries are part and parcel of this wonderful sport and that’s now two riders we are missing from our starting seven. We still await concrete news from Arran Butcher but his injury is taking longer to heal than we hoped and it may be a while yet before he is in contention for a team spot. We know it will be no easy task at Berwick, but if we can make a faster start than we did on Sunday I feel confident we have a good chance of bringing some points back to West Row” The club are currently working with the Berwick management to find a suitable date for the rained off home NDL fixture and hope to be able to advise supporters in the next week of a new date. Teams – Berwick Bullets - 1 Kyle Bickley 8.57 (C), 2 Mason Watson 4.30, 3 Luke Crang 6.41, 4 Kieran Douglas 3.83, 5 Greg Blair 7.41, 6 Ryan MacDonald 3.00, 7 Ben Rathbone 3.83 Fen Tigers - 1.Danny Phillips 7.53, 2 R/R (Jordan Jenkins) 6.55, 3 Elliot Kelly 3.62, 4 Luke Ruddick 6.67, 5 Sam Bebee 4.25, 6 Sam Hagon 3.00, 7 Luke Muff 3.00
  10. Ritchie Worrall is ill so good old R/R gets another run out for Belle Vue at the No2 position.
  11. Looks like Scott Nicholls will be at Eastbourne today as guest.
  12. Last night was due to be the night of the British SGP but that was cancelled a while ago.
  13. How would Nicholls be banned, he is riding as a guest. If he cant make it to Eastbourne then Leicester will find another guest.
  14. Jordan Jenkins We have received a little criticism for not keeping you advised of the situation following Jordan's wrist injury at the weekend. The reason for this is simple we wanted to provide you with honest facts rather than hope, rumour and conjecture. This is how we want to run the club and will continue to do so in this manner. Following a visit to speedway injuries specialist Brian Simpson today we are now in a position to update you and it good news thankfully. Following his crash at Redcar the position was not initially looking good and it did seem likely that Jordan may miss 4 to 6 weeks of our season, Such was the situation we spent the whole weekend looking to bring in a replacement for our captain for this expected period. Despite numerous phone calls to riders who for a variety of reasons were unable to come on board , although in some case they really would have liked to, we went into Monday a rider short. We then received some great news from Jordan on Monday afternoon following a visit to the hospital, the injury to his wrist was not as bad as first felt and he had good movement in the wrist. Jordan advised us that he would be seeking support and advice from Brian Simpson today so we decided to wait until then before updating you. We have spoken to Jordan in the last half hour and it is all systems go for Friday in the British U21 Final and on Sunday for us versus Kent. We are over the moon that Jordan will be with us as we will be missing Jason Edwards after Eastbourne moved a fixture from 11th July (Euro's Final day) back to this Sunday afternoon. We have booked Fen Tigers favourite Connor Coles to cover for Jordan and will issue, as normal, the full pre meeting press release in the next 48 hours. Oh and finally another good piece of news, it's sunny for Sunday As always thank you for sticking with us through a difficult period with the weather and the ongoing Covid issues this season, it really is appreciated and we look forward to seeing you all on Sunday
  15. Update from my crash last night: I was exposed to a violent crash last night in the Polish extra league I was unconscious and slept on the spot after hitting the fence at a strong speed, I first started and mumble a little after a few minutes said my team mate kenneth Bjerre who was also with the crash, so the light was completely off I only remember just the crash before I hit the fence with my head and body and from there I don't remember anything until I'm on my way to the hospital in an ambulance, I've had my whole body scanned and nothing am broken but I have a lot of pain all my body such as the neck, head and shoulder and stomach I have an internal blood collection on my liver that I have to pay a little attention to if there is severe pain. I have discharged myself even though the hospital thought I should lie overnight for observation. I just arrived 5 hours later to Berlin airport, where I fly back to my girlfriend in Spain where we start looking at new apartments. I think the next week's time goes with pain and restitution But with such a violent crash I have to look positively at the situation because it could have gone really wrong Taken from Nicki Pedersen`s Facebook.
  16. The way we`re going with the rules that could happen this season.
  17. Gave up on that some time ago, awful match reports and previews, and any club news is either irrelevant or out dated
