  1. Berwick v Kent off tonight both in the Championship and NL.
  2. Comes as no surprise to see an early call made on this meeting. Hopefully the weather improves, Eastbourne get the money troubles sorted and we see a meeting next week.
  3. A bit like last week with Plymouth Kent come with two big hitters up top so much like Plymouth it will depend on how the others do as to how competitive Kent are going to be. I would expect a similar score to last weeks. Not so sure about the argument about a team doing well at Armadale will do well at Berwick, but if thats the narrative some choose then fair enough, I`m sure we will be reminded of this later on. Weather forecast for today, currently raining and has been for a while. https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655819
  4. To be honest if the top young Brits really want to reach SGP etc, they need to be racing in the top two Polish leagues and Sweden racing against the top guys week in week out. Doubling up between Championship/Premiership will give them a very healthy income but on the international stage will do very little for them.
  5. Maybe they are hoping most supporters dont find out.
  6. Berwick did used to run a bus from Berwick when the speedway was at Berrington but some weeks it would turn up with only a handful of people on it. As you say now the speedway is back in the town there is no need to run buses.
  7. Ben Basso makes his debut for Poole tomorrow night at Redcar. https://poole-speedway.com/news/view/2021-08-19-SKIPPER-HOPING-TO-GET-HIS-WISH-AS-PIRATES-HEAD-FOR-REDCAR
  8. As I said something similar to Monday`s efforts at Kent, this time though Berwick lulled Birmingham into thinking they might just nick a point, before the usual collapse in the later races.
  9. I predict something similar to last nights efforts at Kent.
  10. You are correct he is racing for Grindsted in their home meeting against Holsted.
  11. It might have been mentioned somewhere on here, and its bound to be on our official site but why is NBJ missing tonight.
  12. Well done to Berwick for helping Kent to their biggest home win of the season.
  13. Don`t the Dugard`s still own the stadium.
  14. What a great bunch the BSPL are, lead by a great Chairman.
  15. Hearing that Simon Lambert has been called up into this meeting.
  16. I think they are on about next Sunday where Freeman will miss the meeting against Kent as he is named in the British Under-19 Final at Mildenhall.
  17. If that figure is true, how on earth has it been allowed to get to that. Seems crazy to me from both sides.
  18. In the draw for the British Under-19 Final to be held at Mildenhall, Kyle Bickley has been drawn at No9 while Leon Flint has been drawn at No16.
  19. Riding order announced 1. Joe Thompson - 2, Ben Trigger - 3. Daniel Gilkes - 4. Jason Edwards - 5. Sam Hagon - 6. Dan Thompson - 7. Archie Freeman - 8. Drew Kemp - 9. Kyle Bickley - 10. Connor Bailey - 11. Harry McGurk - 12. Nathan Ablitt - 13. Anders Rowe - 14. Jordan Palin - 15. Sam McGurk - 16. Leon Flint - Reserves 17. Elliot Kelly - 18. Kai Ward -
  20. Once Plymouth got themselves sorted it became quite a decent meeting with good racing. Hopefully Kasper Anderson will be okay for Tuesday and Wednesday as he should be a trump card at reserve.
  21. If those allegations are even anywhere near true then Eastbourne Speedway are in bother.
  22. Leon Flint`s crucial third place from last night`s meeting at Sheffield
