The signing of Proctor doesn't turn Berwick into a poor team overnight, but I believe it is a poor signing giving what was their to spend on the final team place.
-
Lets hope Proctor has the answers.
-
Underwhelming signing to finish the team off, the only positive is that it keeps Jye Etheridge in the reserve position, but I fear Proctor will be there soon enough.
-
To be fair the Berwick collapse in the last few heats was a thing of beauty though

All good thanks, just got out of habit of posting on here, in fact I hardly checked things out on here for a while, close season, loss of interest etc. But now the season is getting closer I`m looking forward to getting back to track side for what could be a half decent season given how the Berwick team is shaping up, one signing to go of course.

Chris Harris going to be a busy bot in 2022 having signed for Poznan in the Polish league.
-
The contract Lawson signed at Plymouth a few weeks ago must mean something surely.

Eastbourne have already announced that 2022 is a non-starter for them, but maybe 2023, time will tell. Kent and for that matter Birmingham have been given more time to come to the tapes next season. I have more confidence in Birmingham staying in the Championship than Kent. There may still be speedway at Kent but at NDL level only.

Happy retirement to Luke Ruddick.

Hopefully will get a guest invitation for Tuesday`s re-arrangement.

Hearing that James Wright is the first rider to be named for 2022.
-
IMO Mudgway was a dependable rider at home and scored well but not quite as good on his travels. Berwick seem to have cornered the market in these kinds of riders over the last few seasons.
-
Delighted to see the Diamonds coming back to the tapes, but I hope Rob Grant hasn't let his heart rule his head over this decision. This should be the start of the rescue and not the end and that will need support from the Newcastle fans, either by joining and support system as they have at Edinburgh or something along the lines of what has been helping out the Berwick promotion over the last couple of seasons or by simply turning up on a regular bases.

Berwick`s Leon Flint guests for Newcastle tonight.
-
Daft as it seems raising the money to keep Newcastle alive could be the easy part, then who ever is running the show needs to get a lot more people through the gates on a regular bases to keep the business running. Failure to do that will see Newcastle back in the same situation sooner rather than later.

Leon Flint gets a guest booking today at Newcastle for his former team Birmingham.

Sad to see the passing of Dave Tattum, thoughts and condolences to all family and friends. RIP
