  1. Leon Flint misses out tonight with a dislocated shoulder so R/R comes into play. Must win for Berwick.
  2. Newcastle fans should feel satisfied with their teams efforts last night, decent meeting with passing on a tricky track. Lee Complin was excellent, obviously on a track he knows well, unlucky that the rules meant he missed HT 15. Hopefully Berwick get Kyle Bickley going soon and he can sort out his mechanical gremlins.
  3. Leon dislocated his shoulder so will miss Newcastle today, hopefully wont be out for to long. There must be a question mark about his participation in the Under-21 Qualifier next Saturday.
  4. Chance of a little light rain tomorrow. https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655819
  5. Leon Flint has been selected to ride in the FIM World Speedway Under-21 Championship Qualifier at Daugavpils next Saturday May 7th, Berwick Bullets have a stand alone NDL on that night so no missed meetings.
  6. Chance of a little light rain tomorrow. Berwick-Upon-Tweed - BBC Weather
  7. Optimism and pessimism all in one, my own opinion is that Berwick will win reasonably comfortably.
  8. I didnt watch the whole match, just a couple of the later heats. Looking at the line ups it looks like the juniors from ExtraLeague teams plus un- used juniors or squad members.
  9. Aren't you being a bit cynical, Polish league is where its at, even Under-24 level, I applaud Bickley for giving it a go, surely putting himself out of his comfort zone of British league can only do him good.
  10. Meeting now finished with a big away win for KS Torun, Kyle Bickley scoring 6+ 3, in the same meeting Jack Smith scores 4. In other Under-24 meetings Jordan Jenkins scores 5+1 in his sides 36-54 home defeat at the hands of Leszno. Anders Rowe has scored a 12pt maximum for his side Stal Gorzow in their big home win against Motor Lublin.
  11. Newcastle Speedway are pleased to announce, that from this week, all children under the age of 16 will be able to enter FREE of charge (with a paying adult)! This will continue to be the case for the remainder of this season. Let's share, spread the word and get more youngsters involved CHILD SEASON TICKETS: All child season ticket holders will be contacted via email, to arrange a refund of the difference. Hopefully this encourages a few more into Brough Park.
  12. Looks like the Under-24 meetings will all take place in the afternoons as there`s currently three meetings going on, here`s a link to the meeting Kyle is involved in. https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/relacja/131574/wts-sparta-wroclaw-u-24-ks-torun-u-24
  13. Kyle Bickley currently racing for KS Torun Under-24 in their match with Sparta Wroclaw.
  14. Southern softie, it was cold though, luckily I had two t-shirts on. Agree with you on the meeting, Oxford were excellent opponents on the night. Hopefully we will see you back in the KOC.
  15. Don't think any of the above is unreasonable to expect from any promotion to be honest.
  16. I thought was excellent with the way he handled the meeting especially with Oxford running R/R, hopefully he gets a few more Berwick meetings.
  17. We got all our passing out of our system last night as I am thinking there wont be much need of it next Saturday.
  18. See I think it will go the other way, close but an Oxford win for me.
  19. Its all about getting to the play offs, Leicester are good enough to do that, after it becomes a cup competition. I have a feeling Leicester will be there or there abouts.
