  1. I would be surprised if any club would hand out a guaranteed wage, if Newcastle have then that's a poor bit of business IMO.
  2. Also two clubs that have their regular racing night on a Saturday.
  3. Unfortunately Kyle Bickley hasn't been selected this week for the Torun Under-24 team for the fixture at GKM Grudziadz.
  4. Unless he has left the club and I have missed it, I don't think Oxford would be to happy should Newcastle sign Batchelor.
  5. Sorry but I am failing to see where your common sense finishes and your ignorance starts, you must see surely if Newcastle go that has an effect on every other team in the league to a small or greater degree. Maybe you are on a wind up, if so then you have succeeded.
  6. Leon Flint has made his comeback with Berwick in the last couple of days, looked good last night at Berwick, so he should make his return for Wolves in this meeting.
  7. It would certainly suit Kyle Bickley and the Thompson twins who are in for a very bust Saturday and Sunday next week.
  8. Very true but there was a couple of big accidents that night, Josh Pickering and Gregor Millar. But you do need everything to go your way, little or no reruns, fewer tractor racing, two seven man teams with no R/R etc.
  9. Not good for the sport, and the local sides, in this case Berwick and Redcar, if Newcastle can`t continue. There`s plenty issues for the Newcastle promotion to answer, lets hope they come up with the right ones.
  10. Nothing loses home fans quicker the a few home defeats and a home defeat like today does it all the quicker. Rob Grant has a few problems to answer, the situation regarding BWD, finding riders who can come in and improve the team etc. Easier said than done I am afraid.
  11. Organiser need to learn the lesson then that somethings less is more. Drop the ticket prices and you get a full stadium.
  12. Pretty standard fare for Marketa, looked to be a lower crowd than years gone by, Covid restrictions accepted, with even empty seats on the home straight.
  13. I am quite happy to be proved wrong but I don't think there is anywhere possible that Redcar will throw away a 12pt lead. Having already won at Berwick, admittedly against a depleted Berwick, team, they should have enough to get the job done.
  14. Yes you are correct I should've put Craig Cook, as No1 and best rider he should've put himself forward as a pick for Ht15. Clearly he had not the best of nights, maybe he was still in shock having had Kyle Bickley blast past him.
  15. Basso would've been the logical choice, but if he couldn't isn't this a situation where the team captain should step forward.
  16. Once the track had been sorted out and settled down the second half of the meeting was better than the first with Glasgow much sharper from the tapes throughout and they deserved their win. Delighted to see Kyle Bickley looking much better in his later rides than in his first to where he looked all at sea, and good to see Flint back to form after his time out. And then there`s the 5-1 draw ££££££££££
  17. Obviously I hope the Monarchs get get another stadium, preferably closer to Edinburgh. But if not would it be feasible to move the whole operation to the new track under construction just outside Workington.
  18. Always look forward to the visit of Glasgow, usually a very good crowd and normally a very good meeting.
