Hopefully these rumours will be just that,and Birmingham will still be a PL team next season.The EL is a mess and one AGM wont solve the problems they have,IMO it would be better for Birmingham to move up when the EL is just that elite,and right now its anything but.

I wouldnt disagree with you and I posted something similar earlier but please dont take anything away from Buxton,they won the play-offs fair and square.

Buxton seem to be what the NL is all about,a good team with a well run club and they have done what I thought the NL is all about.They have brought through riders like James Wright who has gone on to race at the highest level and others that are good PL riders. Its nice sometimes to see a club like Buxton get some success and they have had that this season.Instead of some complaining they should look at Buxton and learn.

Well done to everyone at Buxton Speedway,they are a credit to the NL.

I can understand the feelings of disapointment and confusion from some people,but its now October,so you must expect the weather to be hit and miss to say the least,maybe the BSPA could look at the fixtures so that this kind of important fixture could be raced a week or two earlier,then at least if theres a rain-off there will be extra days to get the meeting on.

I thought Birmingham bought his contract out right.

Going by this weeks Speedway Star Nicklas Porsing certainly intends racing over here,did very well in the individual meeting at Stoke last week and he has rode in a meeting at Wolves as well as Berwick last night.

Things have brightened up quite a bit in the last couple of hours,the clouds are higher and theres been no more rain.

Shielfield has a good reputation of being a good draining track and we have lost very few meetings over the last few seasons due to waterlogging,but as you say theres been alot of rain overnight and after the rain we had yesterday morning,more rain is not what we need.

Its been a very wet and windy night in Berwick overnight and right now (8-45am) the rain continues to fall.The forecast for later isnt great,this rain will move away as the day goes on,it then should be a fairly dry but still with the risk of a shower or two.

It must be getting Bordernaplis as its freezing.Berwick seems to have a weather system all of its own at times,I will put a weather update on here closer to race day. It will keep at least one person happy.
