  1. If the riders are good enough it shouldnt make any difference what country they are from, and there most certainly not be some sort of quota system.
  2. But we can only go on Harris`s scores in the GPs,and they just arent good enough,he`s had more than one wild card pick now and it would be just plain wrong if he gets another and his non-qualification for the GP Challenge is case proven for me,Woffinden may get the nod,but as said in interview recently he`s unsure whether he`d take up a wild card should one be offered.
  3. A wild card pick must be out of the question for next seasons GPs surely,so its a top eight finish or nothing for Harris.Must admit Im finding it very hard to make a case for any Brit at present to be in the GPs next year. Sadly for Harris, hope is about all he`s got left.
  4. As I posted the kid is in two minds,in the Speedway Star interview he does seem unsure.
  5. Reading his interview in this weeks Speedway Star Woffindens clearly in two minds whether to take a GP wild card if one was offered indeed, one pick will go to Hampel and another to Darcy Ward should he make it known he wants to take on the GPs,that doesnt leave alot of room for a Brit.
  6. Harris has dined out on his one GP win for some time,if he qualifys as of right for next year, either by GP Challenge or top 8 finish, then fair doos,he will have earned another go at the GP series. But its out of the question for him to be considered for a wild card pick next year. On Woffinden, theres an article in this weeks Speedway Star with him,and he`s not excatly jumping at the prospect of wanting a GP wild card for next year.
  7. The odd one you can consider as bad luck, but with Harris its becoming a regular thing.
  8. Proposal three, you`ve long enough to post your selections,if you miss it you miss out. That`ll be me then, dont worry it wont happen again.
  9. Harris`s cause isnt being helped by so many break downs, but I agree that sadly Chris just isnt good enough consistantly in the GP.His only hope for qualification into next years GPs must be through the GP Challenge meeting.
  10. Your good lady has just to many good vibrations going on in her life.
  11. There will be a button on your remote that will cure all your troubles.
  12. Someone mustve nipped out to the Gollob van to get that old 650cc engine,it never fails, what a turn around.
  13. Holder,Hancock and Sayfudinov gave gate one to the Pole, nobody to blame but themselves.
  14. After so many break downs theres clearly something wrong somewhere.
  15. Certainly nothing sensational about this thread anyway.
  16. Bloody Harris, his baldy patch will look more like Bjarne Pedersens after tonight.
  17. Wonder if Gollob might be looking at a wild card pick to stay in the GPs,if he isnt going to do it on his own track then he may never do it atall.
  18. Dont think Harris gets close enough to anyone to drop it.
  19. After watching Chris Harris in his first two rides, and picking him for the first time in my predictions,Im wondering if we shouldnt have a tactical substitution rule in this.
  20. I put him in my predictions just for once and look at him.
  21. Greg Hancock Nicki Pedersen Martin Vaculik Chris harris
  22. If the Fence Fund collection was arranged weeks ago, you`d think the club couldve announced it before hand,I mean its not as if the wasnt enough press releases about this meeting.
  23. Agree with this, obviously its good that a collection will take place this saturday with a reduced crowd however, but its seems more reactive rather than pro-active,once practice was called off last saturday it wasnt asking to much for that collection to take place during the meeting proper as Im sure it wouldve raised a huge amount. Hopefully a lesson learned.
  24. Giving that Berwick only couldve run on monday as an alternative,so I think we can say that the covers saved an organisational nightmare, having to get riders from Berwick to Poland and elsewhere, then back, not to mention that the EL teams affected would need to book guests. Most importantly there wouldve been nowhere near the crowd for a re-arrangement than there was last night.
