  1. Moving these meetings is no real drama, most tracks will be ready to go come the beginning of of March and Im sure would only to willing to host them.Ive had PMs from people wanting hotel information in Berwick, people who are wanting to attend the Ben Fund meeting and stay over, its not likely they`ll be looking hotels where theres no 100% guarantee of seeing the meeting. Like Ive said for a while, there will be speedway at Shielfield with a sponsor Im sure.
  2. Agree, the promotion went to the BSPA conference and gave an intention of running, they have giving seven riders contracts and employment, they have announced season ticket and admission details, and who our opposition will be on our proposed opening night.
  3. Berwick Adults £12 OAPs £10 Accompanied Child free Unaccompanied Child £5 Parking free Season Tickets Adult £160 OAPs £132
  4. Whether it be with or without a main team sponsor,I think theres no doubt that we will see speedway at Shielfield in 2013 IMO. Even after an edit you still posted this.
  5. What you mean you havent been told. The new team sponsor for 2013 is...........
  6. Grants done little or no racing for a while now,so a jump straight into PL racing might be a jump to far at this time, however as he says himself a spell in the NL might be an idea.
  7. But is it really so necessary to built a team that goes right up to the points limit, maybe Sheffield are going down the route of signing riders who`s averages are going to improve, and dont forget Simon Stead has taken up a fair chunk.Id admit on the face of things the Sheffield team so far doesnt look the strongest but lets see what the team looks like when its complete and what happens when the racing gets started.
  8. If Wells wants to be at Sheffield as much as he says he wants to be then Id be hoping that he would see things from the clubs point of view and sign a contract,IMO he should think himself lucky that Sheffield want him,and he`s hardly likely to be on a pittance.
  9. Agreed, though Im sure the line-up that is being put together will get people there.
  10. You can bet there`ll be at least a couple of current GP rider as well as a few who have been in the GPs,as well as a few EL stars, add to that a couple of Berwick riders plus riders from the local tracks, you can bet be there will be a good attendance. Anyway given the cause Id be hoping those who can make it will do.
  11. I see you`ve found the percentage button on your calculater.
  12. Ipswich no1 Ben Barker is the 1st rider named in the Ben Fund meeting.
  13. Yes you`ve gotta wonder whatever happened to that engine when Tomicek went there with Berwick last season. Thought Santa mightve brought you a moducum of decency, but I see he hasnt.
  14. Maybe,Im sure they`ll shop around for another colour though.
  15. Over the last couple of seasons Wrights form has been very hit & miss, more miss than hit IMO.If Wright can get back to the form we know he is capable of then Glasgow have a made a good signing on a steal of an average.
  16. Dont tell me,someones told you who our new sponsor is to be. The windiest holes do indeed make the most noise.
  17. Bit like taking the mountain to Mohammed. I think any move by BRFC to a potential new stadium is a few years off,if it happens atall,Im sure Berwick Speedway will be part of Berwick for a few seasons yet.
  18. Sheffield have taken a gamble that Im pleased Berwick did not take, maybe Albin will turn out a winner at Owlerton but IMO i dont see it.
  19. Your investing a potential in signing Albin,he might turn out to be a decent PL rider but that will take time,IMO he wouldnt get anywhere near his 5pt assessed average for a while and right now could any PL club take that kind of gamble.
  20. Maybe not but for me success in the PL is what every season should be all about, for the last couple of seasons our PL position has been poor so it would be nice to see a better finishing position. A national trophy though is always very welcome.
  21. Doesnt Wolbert ride in Poland on a sunday.
  22. Happy with the team, hopefully lady luck will shine on us during the winter and this will be the team come next March. Glad we didnt go with Albin, nothing against the kid but I dont think it was the time to take a gamble, much better to sign a team where you know what you will get and I think we have that. No
  23. col24 will be in attendence,he will want to know the team.
