  1. Harris`s cause isnt being helped by so many break downs, but I agree that sadly Chris just isnt good enough consistantly in the GP.His only hope for qualification into next years GPs must be through the GP Challenge meeting.
  2. Your good lady has just to many good vibrations going on in her life.
  3. There will be a button on your remote that will cure all your troubles.
  4. Someone mustve nipped out to the Gollob van to get that old 650cc engine,it never fails, what a turn around.
  5. Holder,Hancock and Sayfudinov gave gate one to the Pole, nobody to blame but themselves.
  6. After so many break downs theres clearly something wrong somewhere.
  7. Certainly nothing sensational about this thread anyway.
  8. Bloody Harris, his baldy patch will look more like Bjarne Pedersens after tonight.
  9. Wonder if Gollob might be looking at a wild card pick to stay in the GPs,if he isnt going to do it on his own track then he may never do it atall.
  10. Dont think Harris gets close enough to anyone to drop it.
  11. After watching Chris Harris in his first two rides, and picking him for the first time in my predictions,Im wondering if we shouldnt have a tactical substitution rule in this.
  12. I put him in my predictions just for once and look at him.
  13. Greg Hancock Nicki Pedersen Martin Vaculik Chris harris
  14. If the Fence Fund collection was arranged weeks ago, you`d think the club couldve announced it before hand,I mean its not as if the wasnt enough press releases about this meeting.
  15. Agree with this, obviously its good that a collection will take place this saturday with a reduced crowd however, but its seems more reactive rather than pro-active,once practice was called off last saturday it wasnt asking to much for that collection to take place during the meeting proper as Im sure it wouldve raised a huge amount. Hopefully a lesson learned.
  16. Giving that Berwick only couldve run on monday as an alternative,so I think we can say that the covers saved an organisational nightmare, having to get riders from Berwick to Poland and elsewhere, then back, not to mention that the EL teams affected would need to book guests. Most importantly there wouldve been nowhere near the crowd for a re-arrangement than there was last night.
  17. Hope you will be back very soon, but next time bring better weather with you.
  18. It was the Ipswich meeting indeed,as for being cynical, well having seen the magnificent efforts last night it does make you wonder if a little more effort shouldve been made for the previous meeting.I guess we will never know.
  19. You say last night proves that covers work, and your right as we got a meeting, which Im sure was very welcome for those, who like you some miles to get here, but racing was poor to say the least. So are fans happy just to get a meeting or would fans rather have a meeting called off so at least we can see some proper racing in a re-scheduled meeting. Just an open question, its not directed at the track staff last night as they worked miracles over the last couple of days, especially with the rain we`ve had.
  20. Sadly Im disappointed to say that this did not happen,we did have a collection last night but it was seen fit to do it for the Fence Fund,a good cause no doubt but theres already been a buy a brick scheme, and the first meeting of this season was devoted to this cause. IMO once practice had been called off any collection shouldve gone to the Lee Richerdson Fund,I accept we can donate personally, and I accept wrist bands were on sale last night, but it was an excellent oppotunity giving the size of the crowd to donate money in one go,and I cant see a better cause than a rider who has paid the ultimate price, and a former GP rider to.
  21. So you came all this way and stayed at Marshall Meadows, and never bothered with the speedway.
  22. As an FIM meeting this was a success, the meeting was professionally run and it was pleasing given the conditions that we saw all 20 heats, must admit when I saw the referee come out onto the track after Ht12 for an inspection I thought that was the end of that, but the meeting was pushed through.Credit must also go the the track staff who worked miracles in getting this meeting on atall, the work to remove the covers and get the water off the track was greatly appreciated by all who were there. As for the racing itself,on the whole it was very poor but giving track and weather conditions it was to be expected, but to see riders unable to get the bike sideways is not racing and it was very prosessional pretty much all night.Congratulations to Chris Harris on his win,Harris,King,Sundstrum and Masters were they best riders on show. All in all a meeting ruined by the weather but I`d hope the FIM and BSPA will be impressed enough on last nights efforts to get another meeting back at Shielfield sometime soon.
  23. Wash your mouth out. Unless the promotion has got an extension, our curfew time is 9-30,so a delay would be most un-welcome. Still raining, still fairly light though. Rains pretty heavy now.
  24. If this weather keeps up thats my fear as it will turn it into a gating competition, with riders unable to move off the line infear of getting filled in,and thats no good to nobody. But as I posted the tracks been under covers for some time so the corners will be bone dry.
