  1. According to Plymouth,Bech becomes an asset when he completes another couple of meetings.
  2. We`ll need more than luck,we`re next to hopeless away....come to think of it we arent excatly crash hot at home either.
  3. Well lets see, anyway we cant get one of our riders to turn up at Ipswich tomorrow night,so are no better off.
  4. Bechs talents are not in question, but his missing meetings do Plymouth no good atall,it seems that the Plymouth are intent on making him an asset, which will be a real coup for them as I cant see Bech being with the Devils next season.
  5. Providing all the riders come through their respective meetings between now and saturday, the two teams will line up like this.Berwick welcome back Nick Barrett back from injury, while Edinburgh look to have a trump card with Derek Snedden at reserve. Berwick 1 Ricky Ashworth 2 David Bellego 3 Robin Aspegren 4 Matthew Wethers 5 Kozza Smith 6 Nicki Barrett 7 Paul Starke Edinburgh 1 Craig Cook 2 Max Fricke 3 Theo Pijper 4 Josef Tabaka 5 Claus Vissing 6 Derek Snedden 7 Mitchel Davey
  6. Either with or without Aspegren I doubt whether Berwick wouldve ever got near a point.
  7. No that is a press release,no flannel, and no hint of Harry Potter magic. Well done Scunthorpe.
  8. How I wish the actual match between Ipswich & Edinburgh on track could cause as much of a stir as the hoohar between Barker & Cook has.
  9. Berwick will be missing Robin Aspegren, who fancies riding in Sweden this Thursday instead of Ipswich for Berwick.Id love to say he`d be a huge miss but truth is he probably wont.
  10. If Kus is Redcars new No1,will Havelock snr be all that keen to have him back, giving his scoring this season at times Id say no.However as Kus has now made a track return,I think we can look forward to seeing him back at Redcar very soon.
  11. Smith is already doing the qualifying round for next years Longtrack GP Series in September,if he qualifiys,or if he fancies a go at Longtrack racing next season, that would just about rule him out of Berwicks plans anyway due to the amount of saturdays he would miss.
  12. Oh Im fine and yourself.......oh wrong David Im guessing. Every now and again theres has to be a bit of pettiness on these threads,as the following posts may well prove.
  13. Do keep up this matter was dealt with in posts 1 & 2 on this thread.
  14. I suppose 39pts around Armadale for Berwick is something of an achievement so for that I congratulate the riders for their performances especially Matt Wethers, but with six race winners all night, four of them from Wethers, its unlikely Berwick were ever going to get a point last night.
  15. We dont upset anyone, though I hope theres a few extra screws in the heaters at Armadale just incase.
  16. I willing to bet the this Barker v Cook squabble will be guarantee a few extra through the gates the next time they meet.
  17. Weathers set fair for Berwick tomorrow with another warm and sunny day forecast.Theres rain forecast for saturday night sunday morning but the meeting should be well over if or when that arrives. Enjoy the meeting.
  18. According to Edinburghs twitter site, theres been one or two thunderey showers which has aided track prep, but the suns out now and its all set for racing later.
  19. Dont worry you`ll be getting no well dones from me,only an observation, that, you can count yourself very fortunate having admitted to drugs use that you dont have a criminal record for such offences, which after reading your post Im guessing you havent got. However I agree with you completely on the alcohol, though that is not an offence the state you see some people get into you kinda wish it was sometimes.
  20. Muggers, people involved in drugs are both of the criminal fraternity.
  21. If what you say is true, then the very fact that this has lead to not only a court case but a conviction means it is anything other than pointless.
  22. Ipswich qualified for the League Cup final after winning the second leg of the semi-final against the Scotwaste Monarchs 57-37. The aggregate was 99-85. Craig Cook was disqualified from the meeting by referee Dan Holt after an incident in the pits involving Ben Barker, following heat 1. Cook had finished third and Barker fourth in a 3-3. Craig would have been well advised not to get involved, however there was certainly provocation and the referee it seems did not see the whole of the incident. There will be a protest over the affair. Monarchs' top scorer was Claus Vissing with 12 points. The important thing now is to get back up the road and focus on the Armadale match against Berwick on Friday night. Taken from the offical Monarchs site.
  23. Im sure many of us have had relationship break ups,and other issues in our private lives, yet we know its wrong to turn to drugs to find some kind of solice.Giving his history,it appears Mr Lee doesnt learn from his past.
