R/R for Smith weakens Berwick IMO as I dont see the rest of the team getting what Smith wouldve scored.Though they should have way to much against a Rye House side who are looking forward to the KOC.

Correct,but we have a team manager who`s job it is to get the best out of his riders,maybe question`s need to be asked there.It`s clear to see that certain riders are allowed to get away with under performing on a regular bases and become to comfortable at Berwick.

Super gesture from the Berwick Rangers Supporters Club,who have said they want no rent from the speedway for this meeting,meaning they get the stadium for free.

Maybe Dudley will announce Paul Starke as the first one on next year list,could fit into either league.

I get what Bigeddiechek is saying,no fan would want our promotion to get the cheque book out to have one trophy laden season only for Berwick Speedway to collaspe and be no more,look ast Newport.Though I dont see why Berwick cant be successful in the long term,but right now that seems unachieveable as has been already been pointed out theres been no real progress up the PL table in the last few seasons,yes injuries have played their part but we havent been the only club to suffer from those.

I agree with you,but as Paulco says theres so many rule changes through the season its little wonder that speedway is losing its credibility.As for Berwick,Kozza Smith should be our rider in the PLRC but hes injured,as per averages Mathew Wethers is next in line.

The Sky meeting along side the Under-21 meeting this season,the GP Qualifier meeting from last season are all great meetings to host and a credit to the Berwick promotion,but its the week to week bread and butter PL meetings where Berwick are judged and most fans form their opinions and Im afraid the riders assembled are not up to the task of getting Berwick into reasonable positions in the league.

How true, I think those negative posters will be feeling rather embarrassed now, and rightly so.IMO,just like the Ben Fund meeting, this is one of those occasions where you support the event and the reasons behind the event instead of bitching about who may or may not be there.

Absolutely, its sad to see a couple can only post negativity about a meeting where there's so much to be positive about. Still it takes all kinds I suppose. It some meetings that would include most of the Berwick 1-7.

You can hmmm all you want, what happened happened,I guess its up to me to provide the positivity amidst a sea of gloom again. What I do know is we have a meeting to enjoy and support, for a worthy cause. You may have understood wrong,Im sure there's been occasions where Berwick riders have avoided turning up at benefit, testimonial meetings at other tracks, it happens so get over it.It could be argued that Robin Aspegren has not turned up at a few Berwick meetings this season.

Wouldnt know,but that was an arguement that happened six months ago.We need to always look forward to a brighter future.

Daft comment really as I'm sure any rider asked to do this meeting will try to be there, be they big stars or not.

As we know rules mean very little in speedway these days,though Id be amazed if it isnt anything other than a NL guest for Vissing.

If it needs settling then do it the old fashioned way,let them go round the back of the pits for a tear up and come back when its over.

Doing fine,he`s now involved with the younger Czech riders and has a little sideline in making kevlars.Im sure if Tourettes reads this he will be able to confirm.
