  1. Id find it hard to understand should Holder get a pick if hes unable to make New Zealand, and even harder to understand Harris being anywhere near the GP series next year.
  2. Gollob & Holder are nailed on certs for Wild Card picks,it was mentioned last night that Gollob would be fit to return in three months leaving him enough time to prepare for New Zealand.Im less certain on Holders fitness being ready for March next season, though now he`s at least out of a wheel chair hopefully that will quicken his recovery. If either one of them fails to be fit for New Zealand that might open up another pick. One of the other picks will be a Swede,Jonsson would seem to have the best claims as he has missed a couple of rounds and he`ll argue that he mightve qualified by right had he had a full season. The other pick could go to quite a few riders, but winning the European Champs last week might put Vaculik to the top of that particular group.
  3. Many people including me were doubtful whether Woffinden deserved to be back in the GPs.But hes the Champ and thoroughly deserves to be so. Well done Tai.
  4. Hampel wont get 21pts IMO so hopefully Woffindens task will be a tad easier.
  5. Liam Carr will be riding at Armadale next season, but it will almost certainly in the colours of Berwick.
  6. Dont worry its something we are more than used to on the Berwick threads.
  7. It`ll be interesting to see just where Glasgow go with team building this winter,Screen & Grieves retiring, and one or two of this years team with question marks hanging over them. Its quite possible that they will track 5 or 6 new riders in 2014.
  8. You dont honestly believe do you that everythings decided at the anual promoters conference.
  9. Jarek Hampel Darcy Ward Matej Zagar Krystof Kasprzak
  10. Which proves my point that everything around the periphery is supportive of the main event. I agree with Bigeddie that IMO the vast majority of Berwick fans and maybe even speedway fans in general dont come on here.I d say there was a sizeable few that dont even have internet connection.
  11. Its all about the 15hts of on track action for me,and always will be.Ive never once come out of Shielfield Park on a saturday night thinking how great the pies were, how great the the music was or how great the presentation was,all important parts in their place no doubt, but not the be all and end all I think not,and that brings the thorny subject of track prep, get that wrong and we end up with some of the meetings we`ve had this season, though its also fair to say that when the tracks been prepared well it tends to lead to an excellent meeting.
  12. Im sure efforts will be made, though I fear they are doomed to fail.
  13. Fair point, but both Hansen & Jamrog are riding in a number of meetings while they are over here, probably hoping a promoter notices there performances. It might not necessarily mean Berwick.
  14. First thoughts are with the injured riders, and its tough luck on Ipswich but congratulations to Newcastle on getting another trophy in the cabinet.
  15. Theres no doubt that moves are being made for a GP in the USA,however next year I dont think so.
  16. Its being reported from Newcastle that Ben Barker has been taken to hospital with a suspected broken knuckle.
  17. Hansens had a number of chances over here, with differing degrees of success,I hope the Berwick promotion are sure he is capable of decent scoring at PL level, should he sign of course.
