  1. Got my tickets yesterday,2 standing tickets for £30 is excellent value IMO.I`ll be going to Peterborough to the 4s the day before and Im expecting to pay more for that. This will be my 1st meeting at Kings Lynn and Im really looking forward to it.
  2. Must admit,I saw Schramm riding last saturday for Plymouth and he looked like his best days were long gone. However George English has this knack of getting the very best out of his riders most of the time,if he can with Schramm then Newcastle will go on to win the PL,as I believe they did last season.....I take on board Scunthorpe winning the play-offs but Newcastle finished top and so were the best team in the PL.
  3. Mr Barrie has never missed a meeting all season, and has been on the mic every meeting he`s been there, either on his own or making the odd announcement during a meeting. And Im sure he`ll be delighted to read he`s running the meetings now, thought the ref did that.
  4. As things stand right now our last home meeting will be August 31st.
  5. My thoughts excatly,I can well understand Jake`s disapointment at losing his place at Sheffield, but surely racing at NL level will see Knight winning races, which will restore his confidence and should make him a better rider the next time a PL track comes calling whether it be a fulltime signing or as a NL guest. One step back to take two steps forward.
  6. Yes your right, smart money seems to be on Adam Roynon but I guess we`ll know tomorrow.
  7. Sad to hear a young GB rider has decided to give speedway a break, short term or long.
  8. Its typical, over the last month or so,that now we win 2 meetings on the bounce,so should go to Plymouth next friday looking for more away points, that we have a blank saturday next week, there was a real chance to get a bit of momentum into our season.
  9. Im not intending to go over the arguements again, but injustice.....really.
  10. I submit a plea to the BSPA that we should make the PL a 4TT competition,as we have this 4TT stuff cracked.
  11. Edward Kennetts GP Qualifier has been rained off for a 2nd time,it wont be staged tomorrow.
  12. Dont think Newcastle would be able to get the stadium at such short notice, they do have a certain amount of Monday meetings, but they wouldve been agreed with the owners at the start of the season.
  13. Nicki Barrett suffered a dislocated shoulder last night, but thankfully no broken bones.
  14. Offical Glasgow site is reporting Starke rides after his meeting at Buxton was called off this morning.
  15. No broken ankle for Alex,he has damaged ankle ligaments which may keep him out for 2 weeks.
  16. Thankfully no broken ankle for Edberg, ligament damage which will mean a couple of weeks out. Cant see why Starke wont be allowed to ride,he can be riding as a straight guest for Barrett or if the ref gets all perdantic he can be a NL guest rider, either way I cant see a problem.
  17. Jake Knight has been released by Sheffield and signed for Buxton in the NL,Sheffields new rider will be announced tomorrow.
  18. Aspegren is well into his 2nd season with Berwick,if he hasnt adapted to the track by now he probably never will.
  19. Having looked at the averages and riders available,I think we just as well going with Starke & Carr in the reserve positions.Alex Edberg mightve been a decent shout but he took a knock at Leicester last night, apart from him your looking at NL riders anyway so we might as well go with our own, does leave us weak at reserve though.
  20. Seems the sensible way to go,though it does leave us very weak at reserve.
  21. Happily a helping out David Bellego. Starke`s down to ride for his NL club at present,as I believe Liam Carr should be to,but in the case of Carr he will be racing for Berwick.
  22. Then Id argue that the management should make sure the mood takes him more often, everytime he pulls on a Berwick race jacket IMO.
