Ive been sat here in a state of suspended animation since the last bike left the track at the end of last season waiting for this moment. Soon I can breath.

Welcome to Berwick. -
And the very best of luck to him.
-
In seasons gone by it was reasonably easy to name 5-6 or the following years Berwick team, this time round because of so many under performing riders in the team last season its not quite so easy.Bellego & Carr seem nailed on,would you want to take a chance on Alden, would Smith return and would Berwick want him if he goes Longtracking. After that its anyones guess,IMO this is going to be a huge team for this promotion to put together.

LEWIS BLACKBIRD @lewiblack 5m @SpeedwayGB £40 a point elite league. 3point guarantee?? Cant do it and I'm gutted. Hope all the NL boys stick together on this????! Trouble ahead ?. -
Is there anyone left at Birningham who is putting a team together.
-
As you say there will be plenty takers for Lawson, though living just up the road from Sheffield might help matters.
-
Masters has tweeted that he has been signed, that could easily be for Scunthorpe.
-
Berwicks fortunes did not improve with Kennett in the team, lets hope he fairs better at Rye House.Cant see him riding to his starting average but once he attains a true average Rye will be able to make a move or two on the team front. Attack the post and not the poster, its a lesson Id thought you would have learned by now, though personal attacks are normally a sign of an arguement lost.(how I wish I could use an appropriate smiley.)

A winning Panthers team will hopefully bring the fans back, also seeing new teams with new riders will also help.
-
Might do Barrett good to get away to another club for a season or two to rebiuld his confidence,he clearly didnt do the job he was brought in to do though having one or two injuries along the way didnt help. Maybe we will bring in a new asset as a replacement.
-
Believe me once youve tried it,you will never again want to return to the EL.
-
Every chance that Nicki Barrett wont be back at Berwick next season, giving his scoring record round Ashfield he might make more than a half decent signing for Glasgow.
-
You do talk some dribble at times,Kennett never came close to dropping his average while at Berwick as he never did enough meetings. On the rider himself,I think the tighter track at Rye will siut him and being a former Rocket he should have no trouble in scoring points at home meetings.Still not convinced he will be a top rider in the PL though.
-
Not as surprised as the rider it seems, who was emailed the news of his non-inclsion yesterday having been told he was definitly in the team a few weeks ago.
-
Your right though now is not the time,IMO that shouldve happened in the first year of this promotions reign as I think most of the fans wouldve gone with it,dont think that would happen now. Also would the promotion risk it,a few home defeats might see a drop in attendances which in this day and age no club can afford, and have this promotion got the contacts throughout Europe to identify these riders. You`d like to think so. Nice thought though.

Let it go.(insert winky smiley)

For pure racing I think Bydgoszcz would be hard to beat,Im going to the Czech GP in Prague next May.Had lots of good reports about the city, lets hope the racing matches up to the venue. -
Now that the EL clubs will be using young GB riders at reserve, you wonder if Berwick and/or other PL teams will change now that there are riders who wouldve been at EL clubs at reserve, and now wont be getting a gig there. Just plucking a name out but Nicolas Cavatti might be worth looking at.
-
Mr Frost can put any value he likes on his assets, the true value is what someone is willing to pay for the. Can Frost retain his assets and simply loan his riders out to other clubs, and if so does Frost recieve the loan payment.Ok it wouldnt be massive amounts but it seems to me theres easy money to be made if he would get loan fees.

Seven gating tarts would do very nicely IMO. Correct, another reason why the likes of Jamrog would be unlikely to race over here, some riders can make at least as much not riding in Poland than they would over here.

Its great to see the BSPA actually doing something to help young British rider, though IMO it might be a case of running before they can walk as your asking some riders to take to big a step in some cases.Might have been better to use the NL riders at reserve rule in the PL and have GB riders from the PL in reserve positions in the EL.Sure it will benefit some teams, for example if Kings Lynn have Kerr & Lambert as their reserves then they have a strong pairing and being local riders you`d think they would be both keen to race for the Stars. What happens when a 1-5 rider gets injured or is racing elsewhere and whatever team has to go with r/r,might need looking at IMO. I'm sure there`ll be a more detailed statement in the next few days but I take it we still have to suffer the ridiculous black`n` white tactical rule as well as the guest facility which is always open to abuse. One positive thing is there's still a full quota of PL teams but in terms of the PL if there's nothing broken then why fix it. Saddest news in all this though is the possible demise of speedway at Peterborough, good track, great facilities, it would be a crying shame is speedway wasn't to continue at The Showground, here's hoping someone out there fancies taking over. -
Its difficult seeing Jamrog or any other Polish rider racing in our PL,especially if they have a contract in Poland as there would be to many Sunday tracks and the last thing Berwick need right now is having rider going AWOL to race in Poland. Also if a rider commits to racing over here they`d` be giving up lucrative sponsorship from their homeland, again something that's not going to happen.
