  1. You leave my illogical statements alone, some of them may just....just be true.
  2. Well Im happy with the choice Ive made, hotels booked, tickets are bought and Im really looking forward to it. On the track,I think they have a new track guy who hopefully will produce a better GP than in recent years.
  3. Maybe Doyle,Davies and others tried to pay for their visas using Scottish fivers.
  4. No of course not,but it does go o show what happens when you put talented riders on a track where they can show there skills, and has already been pointed out if this kind of track prep can be achieved for a few meetings then why cant it become the norm.IMO the track was good in the weeks leading up to last years U-21 Final, then we seemed to get back to differing track conditions on a weekly bases which of course is no good to the home riders. Ask seven riders what they think and your likely to end up with seven different opinions, much better to give them a consistant track to race on so they at least come to Shielfield eack saturday night with an idea of what to expect.
  5. Wasnt Jason Doyle down to ride at Peterborough last year for his PL club side Somerset, the day after riding for Austrailia in Event 1 of the SWC at Czestochowa.Rain in Poland prevented him from taking his place at Peterborough, but I see no reason why any rider at Kings Lynn saturday cant be at EOES on sunday.
  6. That`ll be the brother of Ales & Lukas, the one they never talk about.
  7. What like the PLRC at Sheffield or the PL Pairs at Somerset, no I think the Fours is just fine where it is, as is the other two I've mentioned.
  8. I feel a wager coming on. Then you will sleep your way to a virtually empty stadium, there's no doubt this promotion has done a lot with the periphery, but the preparation of the track is important to a Saturday nights entertainment. Its not all about the burgers and pies, fine they may be.
  9. It certainly was a long afternoon and evening, but IMO everything conspired against the organisers, track watering and injured riders were the main delay and understandably so but the referee that day could certainly have speeded things up at times.
  10. Or a possible Wembley trip for one of the minor clubs in the North east.
  11. Cant we share, after all the Lord doth often work in mysterious ways, anyway if its on a sunday shouldnt the God botherers be repenting their sins in a church somewhere.
  12. Speaking of forum rules, can I just point out that I didnt start this thread,I posted on last years PL Fours thread,it would appear the Mods have moved it to start a new thread. Id like to go to the Fours, and the SWC event at Kings Lynn but because of the travelling involved couldnt or wouldnt want to do both as seperate meetings.I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Peterborough & Kings Lynn last year and would love to do the same this,as I think would many fans from up this way.
  13. Then they will have to tinker some more, for example the PL Fours has been provisionaly put down for August 3rd,Newcastle are due to race Edinburgh that day as well as Glasgow v Ipswich, the Witches having been at Workington the previous night.
  14. It only says provional, hopefully sense will prevail and it will be brought forward a week.It bound to attract more fans having it the day after the SWC Event at Kings Lynn.
  15. I think we will see some "tinkering" with the fixtures before any bikes get to the tapes for most clubs.
  16. Havent seen any news where or when the 2014 4s will be held,I hope its still held at Peterborough and it would make sense to stage on July 27th,the day after Event 1 in the SWC being held at Kings Lynn.
  17. For those supporters who like to go on a tour then Ipswich followed by a trip to Scunthorpe seems to be the best bet,for those who fancy going around the country then there a trip to Sheffield on a thursday, followed by a trip to Somerset on a friday, before returning to Berwick on the saturday,or theres a trip to Rye House on a sunday, nothing on a monday then a trip to Peterborough on a tuesday.Another trip sees Berwick go to Redcar thursday,Plymouth friday then a over night drive to be at Berwick on the night after.
  18. As yet Berwick haven't put their full fixture list up on their official site, but looking at other sites Berwick host Peterborough on Saturday June 28th, Panthers are at Redcar & Edinburgh the previous two nights. Berwick go to the EOES on Tuesday August 26th. Edit. Having looked at the BSPA site, the full list of fixtures are on there.
  19. Good to see Liam Carr signing for Buxton in the NL,the extra time on the bike can only be a good thing.
  20. Can the pair of you continue this blossoming romance via PMs please.
  21. And when putting a team together, averages, maybe Halls average wont fit into Peterboroughs team plans.
  22. Just shows how powerful Peterborough could be,where you have three riders who have the potential of being top two,add in Hall and it gives Peterborough a top quartet.
