FIM cant start parachuting riders into the GP Challenge, the riders either qualify by right by going through the qualification system or they don't, injuries included. We have two Semi-Finals, surely you take 8+1 from each.

Not at all, Berwick, after one or two teething problems last Saturday, have once again proved they can handle the big meetings, as they did with the Sky match last year with Newcastle. Sky know we can deliver a decent presentation with a well promoted meeting, that has to count for something. A Berwick v Edinburgh (example) meeting on Sky would be a thriller indeed.

The fact that it would be madness for Redcar to run a home meeting against a World Cup match is missing the issue, its the lateness of the postponement and the inconvenience caused to a few Rye House fans who have booked holidays, hotels etc that is the issue surely.

True, but with Bellego being only a few hundred yards from Shielfield, and the Berwick meeting being off at Glasgow did help somewhat.
