  1. Alun Rossiter#26 ‏@AJROSCO 11m Get well soon @DavidWatt24 anybody fancy a guest booking at Leicester Saturday rohan tungate ‏@rohantungate 15m Hope @DavidWatt24 is ok nasty crash
  2. That's the issue for me, I wonder when Pedersen loaded up before heading off to Poland he had any remorse at all, he doesn't have to admit it but one wonders if there was any there to admit. Riders cause accidents in the GP`s all the time, surely its part of the racing, the vast majority of which are just racing accidents, though the idea of some red or yellow card system I find quite laughable.
  3. EuroSports coverage of SGP must`ve left Sky kicking themselves, but as others have said as long as SGP is broadcast live somewhere then I`m happy. Thankfully Green has disappeared from our screens, something that I am quite happy about.
  4. Peterborough`s speedway fans need to realise what they have in the EoES, fantastic facilities and decent racing, maybe a Tuesday race night isn't the most popular but it would be a shame if there was to be another winter of uncertainty for Peterborough Speedway.
  5. I was at Kings Lynn last night, where Lewis Kerr was interviewed about his injury situation. He said things are not as bad as first thought, he would not require an operation and was hoping to be back on a bike in around three weeks.
  6. Obviously I`m not there every week, but there looked a fairly decent crowd there last Tuesday. Main stand was quite well populated, though not many along back straight.
  7. Leigh Lanham ‏@leigh_lanham 17m Stuck on a1 for 2hrs so far gonna be very tight for time.. #trafficsucks
  8. Get the shirt off the centre green presenter, that should cover it, first time I`ve ever heard a presenter appealing for sweeties.
  9. Home win all day long for me, especially with Kus at reserve, he should be a busy man on Saturday evening.
  10. Dis-jointed is an understatement, in these modern times there surely must be a system where riders can wear goggles that have tinted or some kind of reactor light lenses, to have a decent size crowd on two separate occasions last night sitting waiting for the sun to go down isn't great, and I am fully aware of rider safety being priority. Not sure what the answer is. The meeting itself was largely from the gate though the meeting was decent enough, Belle Vue looked well in the meeting, in fact even at the end of Ht10 they looked they could a point. That effort wasn't helped when their No1retired from his last two riders, especially after looking so good in his first two.
  11. Thanks for pointing out my inadequacies, I hope the corrections are to your liking.
  12. Not so sure about that, the centre green announcer, who was presenting from the pits through out, announced Howarth`s withdrawal soon after he returned from his first ride.
  13. Agree with you, from where I was standing it was right decision, I see Nicholls has taken to Twitter to vent his feelings, but like I say I thought it was the easiest decision the ref had to make all night.
  14. Josh Graczjonek was interviewed at Peterborough tonight where he said he hope to return for this meeting, giving that Howarth was forced to withdraw you`d think h must be doubtful for Saturdays meeting.
  15. Decent meeting at EoES, Peterborough will probably look at this as a missed opportunity, especially with Howarth only lasting a couple of laps into his return, though you must question the decision to let him ride in the first place. Workington's efforts are all the more remarkable when you think that the Comets had only one rider in Hts 7 & 10. Lawson was real class at his former home, and was well back up by Wells who was the rider out on his own twice when Workington had only one rider. Taylor Poole was the enigma he is, looked ok in his first ride, before putting in two zero`s, then winning his fourth ride in fine style. I was interested to see how Nicki Barrett got on, his debut was steady if unspectacular, winning his first ride in fine style before tailing off. P.S Can someone return the second half of the National Anthem, I had only got to my feet and taking off my cap when it was all over, but as with last year it was another happy trip to Peterborough Speedway.
  16. I`d like to see him up doing a Berwick meeting, him and our third bend gang are a marriage made in heaven.
  17. Weather is set fair at EoES, travelled over from Wolverhampton this morning, had a bit of lunch in Peterborough, now in hotel and looking forward to tonights meeting.
  18. Really enjoyed my 1st trip to Wolverhampton, and my 1st British Final. Woffinden was a worthy was if not unexpected Champ. Delighted to see a couple of hunger riders getting up on the rostrum, hopefully Cook does himself justice at Cardiff. As advised I got there early, and got into the car park, guy on gate was extremely helpful, as I had pre-paid tickets he showed me to the speedway office, I also had a rain-off ticket from the Berwick GP, sadly neither Mr Adams nor Mr Van Straten knew if I could use this ticket. I was told I had to wait till George English turned up for him to sort out, this he did so I was able to use the ticket. Couple of things, Wolves could do with an extra gate open for when we were leaving Monmore Green, and it was strange to see Lewis Bridger setting off for a run a couple of hours before the meeting. One big plus for Wolves was the centre green presenter, thoroughly entertaining, though not sure about the dancing. All in all I`m delighted to experience Wolves Speedway.
  19. Arrived at hotel in Wolverhampton, weathers ok, bit of lunch and then off to Wolverhampton Speedway for this meeting.
  20. Oh for goodness sake, a tad over reaction. Pedersen hardly stuffed Sayfotdinov big time as you claim, yes he caused Sayfutdinov to fall but the referee could've quite easily called three riders back for a re-run.
