  1. Should these changes, including Schlein, fit, then I don't see any reason why Peterborough should be able to re-declare.
  2. Should we get a meeting at Berwick this weekend I`m sure there will be some kind of announcement one way or the other as who is in and who is out, though you would've thought any announcement could've been made before now, the meeting is a little over two weeks away.
  3. Well this Berwick fan will be there, though I`m not very noisy, nosey maybe but not noisy.
  4. One would like to believe that Berwick would make "every effort to put on the best possible show" for each and every meeting staged at Shielfield.
  5. Aspegren is racing in Sweden, Aarnio is still racing around Europe.
  6. Coventry doesn't fit the bill for those who have already booked hotels in Peterborough, surely the good old BSPA wouldn't change venues this late. Coventry is a perfectly good place for the 4`s, but maybe next year.
  7. I was told about the possibility of pickpockets while in Prague, happily everything was fine and to be honest I felt no more threatened there than walking around any big city, you just need to be careful, for example is probably isn't the best idea to be walking around late at night with hundreds of pounds worth of camera sticking out your bag, especially around the touristy bits like Charles Bridge or Wenslases Square.
  8. No matter what the averages say I am sure Peterborough will be in, wouldn't like to be the team who could've been there though.
  9. Having already sacked him would Sheffield be allowed to re-introduce Roynon, and would the rider be all that keen on the idea anyway.
  10. Have a look at Travel Plus, they do all the GP`s and usually organise a league meeting into your trip.
  11. I broke my GP virginity at Prague this year and had a fantastic time, lovely city, easy travelling and food & drink cheap.
  12. Never been to Cardiff before but giving it some serious thought about next year. I have asked friends who have been before and it seems staying just outside Cardiff is the cheaper option. One stayed at the Travelodge Hotel in the services on the M4 which according to the Travelodge site is 8-5m from the stadium, so might look at that, others stayed in Caerphilly or Newport.
  13. I agree I think GB should get two GP`s, we have stadia that would be able to cope, Wembley, though I think that is unlikely, Olympic Park, and what about Hampden Park, just about to be used for the Commonwealth Games after having a 400m running track laid. Brandon of course has already hosted a GP some years ago, maybe we could go back there and give the stadium a fitting send off over the next couple of years while the National Stadium is being built ay Manchester.
  14. Its not up to referee to keep the event alive, its up to him to enforce the rules and make a decision, that he did. I agree the easy thing to do would've been to call all four back but surely that would've been a cop out. I applaud the ref for making a definitive decision, I wish we had more refs doing the same on time wasting at the start line etc.
  15. By doing the right thing, the referee should be applauded for doing the right thing IMO.
  16. Entertainment business or not the referee had a duty to do his job, that he did by excluding Morris.
  17. Having booked a hotel for the 4`s at Peterborough it had better not be somewhere else.
  18. To put Morris back 15m would've been to invent a rule that isn't there, similarly to introduce a reserve, the exclusion of Morris did make the Final an anti-climax but the referee had to make a decision one way or the other, which he did and IMO rightly exclude Morris.
  19. As you say, he made the right choice, after that nothing else matter. I applaud the referee for making the right decision when the easy thing to do would've been to let all four return.
