Berwick V Newcastle August 23rd
screm replied to crescent girl's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I`m sure even the local usual complainers wont mind going 5mins over. -
But hasn't Sayfutdinov missed the boat for next years GP series, given he isn't doing the qualifiers. He could of course get a wild card pick but that would be very unfair IMO, though I will admit it would be great to see him back in SGP.

Berwick V Newcastle August 23rd

Looking at the link posted, there was "a small over running of the curfew", though it doesn't necessarily mean the last three races were after curfew time. In the latest set of averages on the BSPA site issued on 21/08/2014 has Jensen still above Kus in the averages. -

I`m sure that wouldn't have been the case, breaking the curfew of 9-30pm, would certainly not go down well with one or two local residents, the sad thing being it is only one or two. -
To be fair to Loram he had the likes of Hans Neilsen and Tony Rickardson kicking around at the same time. Loram realised his talent, and became World Champ, excluding is World Under-21 titles, Ward still has to realise his undoubted talent. Can he be World Champ yes, but he has to make significant changes to his set up to get there IMO.

Cracking preview, you don't fancy having a bash at the Berwick press releases do you ?. -
Surely the FIM will make their decision on Ward this week, though it doesn't necessarily follow that a Ward ban in SGP would see him banned from the EL.

Rye House V Berwick Sunday 24th August
screm replied to DragonsDen's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Berwick`s record round Rye House in the last few years suggests a home win, but it seems isn't all sweetness and light down Hoddesdon way, so hopefully Berwick can challenge for at least a point. -
30/08 Gorzow Gp
screm replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
With Pedersen injured on Friday and Woffinden last night, a top performance in Gorzow from Greg Hancock could swing this years World title his way. I`m sure its not what he would've wanted but if you get a helping hand from lady luck you need to capitalise. -
Berwick V Rye House (pl) - Now 23/8
screm replied to Mimmo's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Most teams stand little or no chance round Armadale, Berwick sit at the top of that list. -
Going by the advance ticket sales, the grandstands are going to be full no matter how many Poles are riding.

If Kennett and Bunyan don't come up trumps it could end up a massacre. -
For the good of the sport the FIM must come up with their decision before we get to Gorzow next Saturday.

Must try harder, though being Australian I thought Masters would've come out swinging. -

I can never understand all this pushing and shoving stuff, if you're clump somebody then just get on and do it. -

We have The Cheviots, maybe someone could run up there. -
Who Will Make The Playoffs ?
screm replied to Super Blue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The fewer meetings you take to calculate a CMA the more open it is to abuse and manipulation, maybe the length of time could be a little shorter, but I like this system. Surely it gives a more accurate account of how a rider is doing. -

Maybe he will tonight, he has had some decent scores round Berwick, and a few duff ones in the past but at reserve could be a trump card. -
Somerset Cases Rebels V Ipswitch Witches. 22 /8/ 14
screm replied to Starman2006's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Olly Allen is a bit sore but likely to be fit for Somerset's next meeting, sadly Brady Kurtz has a fracture to his upper arm which is likely to keep him out for a few weeks. -

screm replied to Mr Blobby's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Giving some of our recent efforts round Armadale thirty two is about par for the course, our riders just don't seem to be able to work the place out, and there is very little to be gained from having a go at the track, surely its the same for both teams. -
Patryk Dudek Tests Positive For Banned Substance
screm replied to lastword's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Sadly I believe Dudek probably unknowingly took a banned substance, and will be done for taking a banned drug, with Ward, alcohol is not an illegal substance but riding in a speedway meeting with it in your system is, so he will probably get the lighter sentence but IMO Ward knowingly took an amount of alcohol that he probably knew was wrong while Dudek is the victim of the system that govern our sport. -
Patryk Dudek Tests Positive For Banned Substance
screm replied to lastword's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Good post, for what its worth I think Dudek probably has taken a banned substance unwittingly, but I`m afraid the bottom line is he has taken a banned substance and should be banned accordingly. -

That's easy, any BigEddieChek post. Now this is only a bit of humour, I`m more than happy to be on the other end of the banter. -
