  1. Yes, I like them, or at least they are far better than the month to month average fiddling that used to go on, of course this system is still open to abuse but it takes that bit longer.
  2. The riders had all day Monday, and most of Tuesday to prepare themselves for the Peterborough meeting, your argument probably just about stands up for the long haul from Berwick to Rye House, though it didn't seem to affect the Rye House riders. Surely as professional sportsman, its not much to ask for the riders to be fully prepared for every meeting, I realise there is a lot of work but its all part of the job of a speedway rider. I thought we would've been good enough to bring back a point or two from the two meetings at Rye House and especially Peterborough, I was badly wrong.
  3. Cant see a technicality has been breached, Ward was selected for an alcohol test, and failed.
  4. This result in some ways is a bigger disappointment than Sundays efforts at Rye House, on a bigger track that should've suited us far more than Hoddesdon we have come away with nothing. When will we learn that when we have a reserve scoring as Matek Kus is he must have a full seven rides, looking at the scores both Jensen and Vissing should've been replaced in one of their rides, might not have made a difference but to see Kus with 13pts from six rides would suggest he would scored some points in an extra race.
  5. Would just like to thank everyone for their kind words over the last few days after my little get off on Thursday. I have sustained serious injuries to both cruciate ligaments in my right knee along with the patella tendon and HCL ligament on the inner side of my knee. The only thing connecting my lower leg to the upper is the skin and muscle, so I currently have a cast on until my multiple operations to reattach the 4 snapped ligaments. This is just the start of a long long road to recovery. Thanks again, hope to see you all soon. This was Liam`s post on Facebook, hopefully he makes a full recovery asap.
  6. Agreed, the FIM will only look at Wards failure to pass the alcohol test in Latvia, nothing else. They will also need to make sure whatever decision they come to is legally water tight as Ward will be allowed an appeal if he thinks his punishment, should he get one, is over the top.
  7. The averages haven't been updated on the BSPA site, the last issued updated averages was the 21st August, since then we have raced four meetings though it would take a helluva change in the averages to get Kus, Bellego and Jensen all above Wethers.
  8. Its beating Berwick you should be concentrating on.
  9. Its really not much to ask is it, that before whoever does the newsletter hits send that they have a bit of a read through. Berwick strive so hard to get the important information out there to their fans, I`m sure there will be no more errors in future.
  10. Berwick`s recent performance would make most people think this will be a home win, but surely our fantastic four from that day cant give a similar performance. Berwick one and only race winner that day was Matej Kus, and hugely impressive it was to. If he takes to the EoES as he did that day that will ensure Berwick are well on the way to victory. Peterborough 43 Berwick 47.
  11. Eleven passes, still nothing compared to a Friday night at Armadale.
  12. Some of Woffinden`s performances for Wolves this season has been #2`s.
  13. From the Champions of that time there wouldn't have been a big difference had there been GP`s, maybe Nielsen would've won a Championship or two more as would Gundersen. Would we have seen the one time winners had there a been a GP series, would Havelock or Jonsson still been Champs, IMO probably not.
  14. Absolutely you never know, and Berwick have won away from home this season, but Edinburgh and Somerset are so strong round their own tracks, and in Edinburgh`s case able to nick something at Berwick that we are going to be up against it.
  15. To be honest its just nice to be competing this late in a season, over the last few seasons our PL position hasn't been great and our season has normally been all but over long before now. I have now expectations of winning the Play-Offs.
  16. Whethers is aiming to be back this Saturday for our match with Redcar.
  17. Our promotion doesn't make mistakes, we were told that last week.
  18. I`m sure the Berwick riders and management will be hugely disappointed not to take something away from this match, our riders need to figure out these smaller tracks.

  20. I agree, I think if we have a free scoring reserve they should be given their full seven rides on a regular bases.
  21. Whoever the second reserve for next month, Berwick cant lose either way with Kus or Jensen.
  22. Looks like a decision will be made this week.
  23. Don't know, if they do its probably a good idea to keep an eye on the averages via the BSPA site.
  24. Shouldn't Watt be the one replaced.
