  1. Yesterdays European Under-21 meeting, due to take place in Rybnik with David Bellego in it, was rained off just before the scheduled start. The Track Racing Commission for FIM Europe will announce a new date in due course. Here`s hoping its not on a night where Berwick have a fixture. Also congratulations to Berwick`s Leon Flint who finished 3rd in 150cc British Youth Championships yesterday at Rye House.
  2. I recorded it and watching it back right now, there is just as much concern for NKI as there is for Hancock, mostly more comments about Hancock as some idiot has their camera just a yard or two from Hancock who is sitting in the doorway of the ambulance.

  4. It is to Machins credit that he has made himself available to the new Sheffield promotion as a guide of their first season.
  5. Simply don't get the knives reference, perhaps its those damn insecurities again. My request is a simple one, if your going to put information out to your customers, and to those further afield, please try to get as much of it as accurate as you can, when I say you I don't mean you, as I am in no doubt if you had anything to do with newsletters etc it would be word perfect.
  6. Vissing was excellent at the start of the season, and made it clear he was after the No1 position, agreed that in the last week or two his performances have dropped off a bit, if he is looking at a bit of competition from his teammates for the No1 jacket then he has that now. Certainly come the play-offs we will need every rider hitting top form. On a side issue it was good to see Liam Carr out and about at the meeting last night, albeit on crutches.
  7. Same mistake repeated in the Berwick programme from last nights meeting. Must try harder.
  8. Decent meeting last night, Redcar looked capable of getting a point right up to Ht15. Well lead by Summers, and backed up by Skidmore, sadly for the Bears they were much of a muchness after that. For Berwick Matej Kus was quite superb, gamble of a signing at the start of the season my eye, IMO he would be the first rider signed up for 2015. All the other riders contributed well to another 3pt home win and the push for the play-offs continues.
  9. Proof, if ever it were needed that this poster is the oracle, the standard bearer, to which we all have to look up to. Always difficult to judge when a rider is out on their own, Berwick must ensure Wethers is completely fit to return, going to reserve as he now does for September there will every chance he will have extra rides to take and he will have a big roll to play come play-off time, we have seen the benefit of having a big scoring reserve with first Jensen and then Kus.
  10. Absolutely, anyone who gets behind the wheel of a car and drive after drinking deserve all they get IMO, as in this case does Ward.
  11. To be frank, Ward should've thought about before going out drinking.
  12. Bright and breezy start to this Saturday, and forecast to stay that way. IMO we should be able to see off the Bears reasonably comfortably tonight, obviously no Bellego weakens Berwick, though that means extra rides for Kus which in his present form cant be a bad thing.
  13. Tells you everything, that so many people think Ward wont learn from any punishment handed out, IMO in a few years we will be looking back on Wards career and asking what if.....
  14. Krzysztof Kasprzak NKI Bartosz Zmarzlik Greg Hancock 4TT pick Gorzow
  15. Ashley Birks drops to reserve for Scunthorpe for September, looks a handy reserve to me.
  16. If it gets back to his league racing this season, and keeps him in SGP for next season it would be money well spent, though in cases like this the one big winner will be the legal teams on either side.
  17. The top four looked stitched on four the play-offs, after that there are six clubs chasing two places, even as far down as Workington cant be dis-counted given the amount of meetings they have in hand, but at this time of the season points on the board must be an advantage.
  18. Confirmed by the FIM jury that Cyfer will indeed replace the injured Woffinden.
  19. Looking good weather wise for Saturday, it will be a bright and breezy day. There is the chance, just the chance of the odd shower but with the north-westerly breezy any showers will be short lived and wont have any affect on the meeting tomorrow night. Lawson has missed an incredible amount of meetings for Redcar, but they must've known the dates he would be missing and still went ahead and signed him, but I agree that this kind of thing has to stop. Thankfully at Berwick we don't have any riders who must put their EL clubs first.
  20. No Woffinden, and Pedersen less than 100%, equals big chance for Hancock to open up a gap at the top of the table.
  21. Good to see Wethers on the way back, as reported in Speedway Star it would take a while before he would be ready to return, clearly putting into perspective one posters claims that his return would be in the Redcar match. Far better for rider and club to wait that bit longer, especially has he returns as a reserve.
  22. Berwick 1 Claus Vissing 2 James Sarjaent 3 Steen Jensen 4 R/R 5 Kevin Doolan 6 Alex Edberg 7 Matej Kus Redcar 1 Sam Masters 2 Hugh Skidmore 3 Mark Lemon 4 Carl Wilkinson 5 Aaron Summers 6 Jan Graversen 7 Rafal Konopka
  23. How true, though even the forum fannies know that its Stuart Robson that rides for Newcastle and not his brother Scott, who if my information is correct retired some time ago.
  24. Berwick announced that Wethers will return this Saturday for the Redcar match, one thing is clear though, now Wethers is moving to reserve he must be fit enough to take a possible seven rides, as IMO he will be the key rider for any play-off ambitions we have, if that means he sits out racing and just gets a practice in for the next week or two then so be it. But you are correct, the guests we can call on is very impressive.
  25. Personally I cant see what the fuss is about, Mathew Wethers, as it said in the newsletter the other day, will be the Berwick reserve for September, the club wouldn't release a newsletter to their supporters that was that factually wrong. Septembers averages. 1 Claus Vissing 7-96 2 Kevin Doolan 6-79 3 Matej Kus 6-94 4 Steen Jensen 6-68 5 David Bellego 6-26 6 Mathew Wethers 6-15 7 Alex Edberg 3-84
