  1. It would be a crying shame if the EoES was lost to speedway, decent facilities, easy to get to and above all a decent track. I hope it, and Peterborough, will be around for many years to come.
  2. It appears Eastbourne might have to do without Cameron Woodward for a time. This is translated off Sportowefaty.pl. To a dangerous collapse in first gear in Lublin. Only the victim, Cameron Woodward, was taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg. The collision occurred on the first lap of the second arc. Cameron Woodward rode on the third position against Maksimem Bogdanowem. Of Livonia, which brought slightly out of balance, and also Australian, he lost control of the motorcycle-a moment later he fall. The judge decided to exclude from the Player Lokomotivu Daugavpils, however it was at this point the most important thing. On the track left the ambulance and took Some to the hospital. As the announcer gave the competition, Woodward will most likely broke his leg.
  3. Ok lets get really radical, we have a rule book, how about every team no matter what league just sticking to the rules.
  4. Glasgow cant make anymore changes as the deadline is passed, though I`m not sure if Palovaara would do enough meeting to attain a true average.
  5. Glasgow Tigers = 52 1. Victor Palovaara - 0, 0, 0 = 0 2. Theo Pijper - 1, 3, 3, 3 = 10 3. Kevin Wolbert - 3, 3, 3, 3, 2 = 14 4. Tero Aarnio - 1, 0, 2', 1 = 4+1 5. Surely Kevin Wolbert must be riding himself into next years Tigers team.
  6. Mills has suffered fractures in his neck, back and shoulder, but amazingly he has already had his neck brace removed and been up walking.
  7. Delighted to see that Chris Mills has had his neck brace removed already and has been up and about.
  8. Workington`s defeat last night now means that Castleford cant be caught at the top of the NJL table, so well done to them.
  9. True but then could only muster three plus a couple of bonus last night at Berwick.
  10. Should Edinburgh finish top I`m sure they will have Berwick on their pick list, more or less guaranteed 3pts at home and in with half a chance of a point at Shielfield.
  11. Scunthorpe more so than Berwick, they looked a handy team last night. Young Perry at reserve could be a weak link but if they can get him chipping in with a few points Scunthorpe could be a team to be avoided in the play-offs.
  12. And more and more people are doing that week after week.
  13. Also there is good news on Joe Jacobs, he is feeling better this morning and will ride at Glasgow later today.
  14. Haven't a clue but it was a welcome pass all the same.
  15. ChRiS MiLlS ‏@millsy199racing 1h Thanks for all the messages people got a couple of fractures in my neck and back lucky not to serious oh & shoulder Tweeted this morning by Chris Mills.
  16. Sadly for Rye House Speedway, Silvers my way aint working.
  17. After Workington collected maximum points from their two meetings last night the play-off places are just about cut and dried IMO, Newcastle have clung onto 6th place for a while now, for them to get back in they will need to take maximum points from tonight's meeting with Peterborough, and then get a four point win at Edinburgh next weekend which is unlikely, even if they do Workington still have meetings where they will get points starting with a trip to Glasgow today.
  18. Running double header meetings when there`s a curfew is a risk, sadly last night that risk was compounded by two accidents that saw riders withdrawn and in one case an air ambulance required, maybe one or two on here could remember that before complaining about not getting thirty heats for their money. Hope Jacobs and Mills are up and about asap.
  19. Decent meeting last night and Scunthorpe can feel a tad unfortunate they didn't get more out of the meeting as they lost firstly Birks and then Auty, both of whom would've come in for consideration for Ht15, also they provided more race winners than the home side that said Douglas did win Ht15. David Howe was excellent for the visitors. Bellego, Edberg and Jensen all had poorish nights, hopefully they are getting their duff meetings out of the way before play-off time, though it was good to see Jensen walk away from a nasty looking fall with Birks at the start of Ht14.
  20. To be honest Berwick`s hopes of ever finishing top two were slim at best, now they have a job on to finish third though if Berwick had been offered 4th place at the start of the season they would've taken that.
  21. Scunthorpe have been in decent form of late, form that has seen them all but guarantee a play-off place, but I think Berwick will want to bounce back after last nights efforts at Somerset.
  22. Disappointing but not an unexpected drubbing at the home of the league leaders, five race wins all night tells its own story. Move on to Scunthorpe tonight.
  23. Edinburgh`s site is reporting no last injuries and they hope Worrall will take his place in the teams trip to Rye House tonight.
  24. Agreed, but surely there`s a world of difference from racism to a young speedway rider unwittingly taking a banned substance in a sports drink.
