  1. Lets see how many meetings he gets, it is good he has a contract in Poland though the Polish Extraleague might be a step to far.
  2. He certainly did, but at a cost, IMO his time at Berwick Speedway wont be looked back upon with a whole lot of affection, though I think its fair to say some got more out of it than others.
  3. Berwick is most certainly in England, and unless our friends across the border come back and invade it will remain so for some time to come. Something I think the majority of the people are quite happy about.
  4. Take away the tactical rides and Berwick wouldn't have hit 30pts, it seems other teams who are going to be in the play-offs are hitting top form where as Berwick`s fortunes are going the other way. We need some of our riders back on top form for the play-offs as we don't have Mr Kus at reserve hitting big scores.
  5. I`m sure we`ll be getting a visit from the forum police quite soon, as for Mr Barrie he can reply for himself, from whatever username he chooses.
  6. Totally agree, though I suppose it keeps the happy clapper section happy. Having a joke is fine, all for it, but this one has become tiresome and quite frankly boring.
  7. No problems what so ever weatherwise for tomorrows meeting, dry with plenty of sunshine for Wednesday. Home win IMO especially now Workington will be turning up Bachless and Howarth not exactly 100% fit.

Krcmar was very impressive in this years SWC, and would be a valuable asset to any PL team over here, though as with any young rider he`d bound to miss meetings from Under-21 meetings be it Worlds or Europeans, individual or team events, but at the end you`d be bringing in an asset.
  9. Last night Matej Kus finished a creditable 8th in the Tomicek Memorial meeting in Prague last night, he ended the meeting with 8pts. The meeting was won by Emil Sayfutdinov.
  10. I am sure everyone will have their newsletters this very morning.
  11. Your right, IMO the team that finishes top when all the fixtures are over should be the Champions, but we have the play offs now, and they wont be going away anytime soon, so we have to make the best of them.
  12. Exactly, and if things go against Berwick they might only need two of those Saturdays, also if Workington and Berwick end up in the same group it seems Workington are able to move to an alternative night reasonably easily.
  13. This being the case, here we are 48hrs after the Berwick v Scunthorpe meeting, yet no match report on the official site. Not very immediate.
  14. Chris Mills has released from hospital and is on his way home to continue his recovery from his injuries.
  15. PLAY-OFF PICTURE - HOW IT WORKS - Teams will meet all other Teams in a League table on 2 occasions, 1 at home and 1 away and by ballot additional Teams to make a total of 14 home and 14 away fixtures. - The Play-Offs will incorporate the top 6 Teams in the Final League Table and initially comprise of 2 mini-leagues. - The highest placed Team will have 1st choice, the 2nd placed team having 2nd choice etc. to choose which mini-league to compete in. - In the mini-leagues each team will meet each other on a home and away basis. - The Teams finishing top of each Mini-League will then contest the Play-Off Final. - The Championship is determined by the aggregate Heat Points scored in the home and away Meetings. In the event of a tie on aggregate in the Final, the outcome will be determined by Golden Heats Format.
  16. Delighted to hear that Chris Mills is out of hospital and on his way home.
  17. To do so Newcastle would have to go to Edinburgh and get a full 4pt win, which is unlikely.
  18. I am sure there will be a newsletter coming out to tell the customers of every piece of news, as it always does.
  19. Berwick 1 Claus Vissing 2 David Bellego 3 Kevin Doolan 4 Steen Jensen 5 Matej Kus 6 Mathew Wethers 7 Alex Edberg Workington 1 Josh Grajczonek 2 R/R 3 Ricky Wells 4 Mason Campton 5 Kyle Howarth 6 Joe Jacobs 7 Simon Lambert Cheaper admission, free programme, weather forecast is decent, so there`s no excuses for not being there.
  20. It would that, it also would give Edinburgh their best possible chance of getting to the Final. If the other group was Somerset, Ipswich and Scunthorpe, I wouldn't to pick a winner from that little lot.
  21. If the play-offs end as the league stands now, obviously Somerset and Edinburgh are the stand out teams, though right now Scunthorpe are the team to avoid. I`m sure at least Edinburgh will be keen to get Berwick and Workington.
  22. Hopefully Extance`s injuries are not to bad and he is up and about very soon. Why did Coventry request a track inspection.
  23. Then surely an independent person, and not the BSPA, is put in place to decide on rulings the better.
