Berwick V Edinburgh - Pl Playoffs (20 September)
screm replied to crescent girl's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Its mostly been a week of low cloud, mist and drizzly rain for Berwick, happily the forecast between now and Saturday is an improving one with any drizzle moving away by early Saturday morning. After that Saturday will be a dry day with some brightness. -

Prague in May seems good for me. -
The BSPA must take their share of the blame, but don't leave the clubs out of it. To many times the riders dictate what meetings they will and wont race in, maybe time has come for the clubs to take a tougher stance with the riders. If that means we don't see some of the top riders, but see virtually the same 1-7`s every week wouldn't that be better than the guest fest we have at some meetings. Shouldn't all clubs do this.
-
Simple, if the BSPA are going to be seen as consistent, then these riders who choose to ride in Poland on Sunday should receive the same as Zetterstrom, time will tell.

Berwick V Edinburgh - Pl Playoffs (20 September)
screm replied to crescent girl's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I hope Berwick would do as much as possible to help their riders gain any advantage going, our track should be as your riders want it every week. Bugger this level playing field nonsense, this is play-off speedway where winning is everything. -
Its not to many moons ago that being PLRC or NLRC as it once was was a meeting every rider wanted to be in, and wanted to win even more. Thanks to the likes of Tungate, Allen and Vissing, and maybe one or two more before tapes up on Sunday, this meeting on Sunday is getting more of a second class status as time goes by.

Get your excuses in early I like it. Of course the track team at Armadale would never lower themselves to such naughtiness. -
And here we have another rider that has decided that the play-offs in Poland are a better way to spend a Sunday evening than trying to win the PLRC. rohan tungate @rohantungate 55m Have pulled out of the PLRC on Sunday, and will be racing In the 2nd leg of the playoffs in Poland. Sorry to the Ipswich fans

Who Will Make The Playoffs ?
screm replied to Super Blue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Reports on Speedway365 suggest that Howarth will be out for two weeks but hopes to be back to play some part in the play-offs for both Coventry and Workington but giving the extent of his injury that might be a tad optimistic. -
Patryk Dudek Tests Positive For Banned Substance
screm replied to lastword's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I don't think for one minute that Dudek was deliberately trying to cheat, and is guilty of nothing more than being careless or not getting the correct advice when taking his supplement drink. However as I`ve posted before Dudek, as a professional sportsman, is solely responsible for what goes inside his body. Therefore I think todays ban is the correct decision. -

Groin, he has returned to Denmark and has been operated on. In some pain, he has been told to rest for two weeks. -
Who Will Make The Playoffs ?
screm replied to Super Blue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Giving the two groups, I`d love to know how the selections went for Edinburgh and Somerset. IMO Edinburgh will get through without to much bother, where as I wouldn't like to pick a winner from the Ipswich, Somerset and Scunthorpe group. -
Now that Vissing doesn't fancy the delights of Owlerton, I hope Matej Kus will do well for Berwick.
-
Then if Ward is going down the wonky testing kit route, surely it would be a non-starter, as the others would show faulty results to.

So its Edinburgh who will be getting first pick. -
scott nicholls @scottnicholls78 52m So then, 11 dodgy silencers taken from 1 meeting in Poland today!! Up to the old tricks again. Need to do checks all the time! This being one of them.

Actually I thought Pedersen was just in front, though on this occasion I thought he was rightly excluded.

I hope Me Rissing doesn't see Ht1 in the Leszno v Tarnow meeting.
