  1. Exactly, and if things go against Berwick they might only need two of those Saturdays, also if Workington and Berwick end up in the same group it seems Workington are able to move to an alternative night reasonably easily.
  2. This being the case, here we are 48hrs after the Berwick v Scunthorpe meeting, yet no match report on the official site. Not very immediate.
  3. Chris Mills has released from hospital and is on his way home to continue his recovery from his injuries.
  4. PLAY-OFF PICTURE - HOW IT WORKS - Teams will meet all other Teams in a League table on 2 occasions, 1 at home and 1 away and by ballot additional Teams to make a total of 14 home and 14 away fixtures. - The Play-Offs will incorporate the top 6 Teams in the Final League Table and initially comprise of 2 mini-leagues. - The highest placed Team will have 1st choice, the 2nd placed team having 2nd choice etc. to choose which mini-league to compete in. - In the mini-leagues each team will meet each other on a home and away basis. - The Teams finishing top of each Mini-League will then contest the Play-Off Final. - The Championship is determined by the aggregate Heat Points scored in the home and away Meetings. In the event of a tie on aggregate in the Final, the outcome will be determined by Golden Heats Format.
  5. Delighted to hear that Chris Mills is out of hospital and on his way home.
  6. To do so Newcastle would have to go to Edinburgh and get a full 4pt win, which is unlikely.
  7. I am sure there will be a newsletter coming out to tell the customers of every piece of news, as it always does.
  8. Berwick 1 Claus Vissing 2 David Bellego 3 Kevin Doolan 4 Steen Jensen 5 Matej Kus 6 Mathew Wethers 7 Alex Edberg Workington 1 Josh Grajczonek 2 R/R 3 Ricky Wells 4 Mason Campton 5 Kyle Howarth 6 Joe Jacobs 7 Simon Lambert Cheaper admission, free programme, weather forecast is decent, so there`s no excuses for not being there.
  9. It would that, it also would give Edinburgh their best possible chance of getting to the Final. If the other group was Somerset, Ipswich and Scunthorpe, I wouldn't to pick a winner from that little lot.
  10. If the play-offs end as the league stands now, obviously Somerset and Edinburgh are the stand out teams, though right now Scunthorpe are the team to avoid. I`m sure at least Edinburgh will be keen to get Berwick and Workington.
  11. Hopefully Extance`s injuries are not to bad and he is up and about very soon. Why did Coventry request a track inspection.
  12. It would be a crying shame if the EoES was lost to speedway, decent facilities, easy to get to and above all a decent track. I hope it, and Peterborough, will be around for many years to come.
  13. Glasgow cant make anymore changes as the deadline is passed, though I`m not sure if Palovaara would do enough meeting to attain a true average.
  14. Glasgow Tigers = 52 1. Victor Palovaara - 0, 0, 0 = 0 2. Theo Pijper - 1, 3, 3, 3 = 10 3. Kevin Wolbert - 3, 3, 3, 3, 2 = 14 4. Tero Aarnio - 1, 0, 2', 1 = 4+1 5. Surely Kevin Wolbert must be riding himself into next years Tigers team.
  15. Mills has suffered fractures in his neck, back and shoulder, but amazingly he has already had his neck brace removed and been up walking.
  16. Delighted to see that Chris Mills has had his neck brace removed already and has been up and about.
  17. Workington`s defeat last night now means that Castleford cant be caught at the top of the NJL table, so well done to them.
  18. True but then could only muster three plus a couple of bonus last night at Berwick.
  19. Should Edinburgh finish top I`m sure they will have Berwick on their pick list, more or less guaranteed 3pts at home and in with half a chance of a point at Shielfield.
  20. Scunthorpe more so than Berwick, they looked a handy team last night. Young Perry at reserve could be a weak link but if they can get him chipping in with a few points Scunthorpe could be a team to be avoided in the play-offs.
  21. And more and more people are doing that week after week.
  22. Also there is good news on Joe Jacobs, he is feeling better this morning and will ride at Glasgow later today.
  23. Haven't a clue but it was a welcome pass all the same.
  24. ChRiS MiLlS ‏@millsy199racing 1h Thanks for all the messages people got a couple of fractures in my neck and back lucky not to serious oh & shoulder Tweeted this morning by Chris Mills.
