Some of the points Berwick lose with Jorgensen will be off set slightly with a points gain when Knudson gets a true average. But I agree with you, this is a very poor side, the promotion should know Jorgensen`s average will drop that should mean you start off with a points scoring reserve to cover, as should've happened last season with Etheridge before injury then Knudson. Berwick`s reserves are woeful. It can only be hoped that Flint and Knudson come up trumps.

We can only hope that every Saturday is dry and the track ultra slick and smooth. We all know what Rory`s attitude is like when it isn't. As I say awful signing.

Thats been the age-old problem where people get something else to do on a race night, or their children do more likely, obviously there are others who become tired with speedway and the ever-changing rules, and who can blame them. I don't believe that the powers that be have it in them to re-invent a sport that can attract new supporters, let's face they have a fight on just to keep the fans they have at the minute.

Any club signing Barker deserve all they get IMO, surely everyone would've learned by now.

Very good signing in Bellego, Sheffield will have as strong a top two as there will in the Premiership next season.

Isn't that the truth, the one great mystery of speedway is always that we have a firm deadline for the completion of fixtures yet year after year teams are forced to run on consecutive nights, run on off run and this season run home meetings on away tracks. Surely next season will be different....surely.

If that's true, there`s nothing stopping Berwick starting over again with their team plans.

Like the idea of getting back to a better points system and happy to see the aggregate bonus point back. The U-turn on the amount of home meetings for each club should be a concern as this is bound to mean many blank dates especially for those tracks with only one team. Disappointed that the Fours have been overlooked again, these were usually very well attended meetings for the northern clubs.

A good night at the speedway is a good night out and value for money. Sadly that is the exception rather than the norm these days.
