You have to wonder what the promotion make of one of their employees calling one of their customers a "cretin".

Good news for Rye House is that their fixtures will take priority when there`s a clash with Lakeside`s regarding Kennett.

Its all some can do to make a point, sadly.

Don't see it as Ward getting his just deserts, Ward has done wrong, even Middleditch admits that, now he has to face up to his actions. I hope he isn't lost to speedway, but learns from this and comes back a better rider for it.

Why, it was Wards boozing that caused this mess, maybe the FIM forced him out kicking and screaming to every bar and drinking hole in Latvia.

Coventry can confirm arrangements for priority on their doubling-up riders in 2015, and the news is good for Bees supporters. The Buildbase Bees will have first call on the services of both Danny King and Stuart Robson in the Elite League this season. Where a rider competes in both Elite and Premier Leagues, priority is with the rider’s parent club in the event of a clash of fixtures. However, in the case of King and Robson, neither are riding for their parent clubs this season. Robson, who has joined Redcar in the Premier League, is an asset of Elite League Lakeside, and it is the league of his parent club which therefore dictates the priority on his services. King’s registration, meanwhile, is being held by the BSPA following the collapse of Birmingham as an Elite League club last season, and he is therefore classed as an Elite League rider whilst also having a Premier League team place with Ipswich. At reserve, Bees also have priority on James Sarjeant as a club asset when their matches clash with Premier League Glasgow, whilst Jason Garrity is currently without a Premier League place after leaving Rye House last week. Coventry co-promoter Neil Watson said: “I fully understand it’s been a frustration for supporters in recent years that on several occasions we’ve had to make changes because of fixture clashes, especially in home matches. “It’s something we’ve worked hard to limit as much as possible this winter, and to have confirmation over Danny and Stuart is very positive. “This means we should have much more consistency over team selection this year, and I’m sure everyone will welcome that.” Here it is in all its glory, taken from Speedway 365.

Rumours have been rife about management changes, stadium improvements and the reintroduction of a third tier team at Rye House Speedway – and now all can be revealed. The stadium and ownership of the club has been sold by long-serving Rockets supremo Len Silver and, while he continues as head of the Premier League team, his son Andrew steps in as chairman and manager of the Raiders, who make their return in the City Gearboxes National League. The club’s new owner is local businessman Warren Scott. A key player in the family farming business, he has motorsport in his blood, being a former British Superbike Championship rider and current owner/driver of BMR Racing British Touring Car Championship team. Talking about his involvement, delighted Bishop’s Stortford-born Warren, 43, said: “As a local employer there are many areas where we can add value and make a difference to the speedway. “This is more than just business for me, I have a deep seated interest in bikes and a passion which I am sure can make a valuable contribution to the legacy of Rye House Stadium.” The ownership change sees Silver Jnr, who successfully runs the Rye House speedway training, school take up a more day-to-day management role. A former England international who rode for the Rockets, Arena Essex, Swindon and Eastbourne during a glittering racing career, Andrew said “Rye’s speedway fraternity have hit the jackpot. I could not have dreamed for anyone more suitable to take the club forward and cannot wait for the season to start.” The Raiders begin their season with a home match against Mildenhall Fen Tigers on Saturday, April 4. However before then, on Saturday, March 14, they stage their press and practice day at the stadium. Taken from Speedway 365.

Coventry will get priority, as they will also do over Redcar`s Stuart Robson.

Names.

Never mind Facebook cant we do that on here, I`m sure there would be many willing contributors.

It would appear that Ward is starting to realise that he might not get away with drinking the night before a GP.

I`m sure we`ll be ok if we get the two sides to the story.

Booked hotel for the meeting at Kings Lynn, all we need now is the tickets and good weather. -
In the interests of balance I hope we hear both sides of the story, it would make it easier for us all to form an opinion.

Seems there`s two sides to this story, I hope we hear both.

What The Visa Issues Could Mean For Teams.
screm replied to doners1234's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Your right though I wouldn't go quite as far as cheating, all it needed was for the BSPA to enforce the rules that were there since 2009, that led to clubs becoming lazy with paperwork etc, the new UKVI are making sure the clubs have the applications for sponsors license`s in order, now they need the riders to re-apply for their visas asap, with a bit of luck it should be easier. -
Giving some of the posts on this subject its little wonder that this thread was taken down recently, looks like we are heading in that direction again.

I`ve no doubt that Starman is neither a troll nor thick, its just in this particular instance he is backing the wrong horse.
