  1. IMO Saturday`s Barker statement came straight out of, and was delivered in, the style Berwick of one of the news letters.
  2. Agree, lets just be thankful it isn't a certain Danish rider, it wouldn't only be Mr. Woffinden using industrial language as this forum would turn the brightest blue overnight.
  3. Your entitled to your opinion, but I am sorry I dont think its acceptable to swear during a live interview on tv, maybe your right I`m from a different generation than Tai but I still find it hard to accept that the kind of swearing we heard from Tai as being cool.
  4. Another fairly dismal away showing from Berwick. let down by our guest at No1 though on the flip side a good score from our other guest Mr. Fisher who wouldn't be the worst signing for Berwick next season should they run of course.
  5. Woffinden is a fantastic rider, and will hopefully go on to be World Champ this year, but that should bring a responsibility of conducting yourself better than Tai did last night. However I completely accept that Tai and Darcy are big mates and Tai will have been as upset as most over last weeks accident.
  6. Sorry but the language that Woffinden used last night is unacceptable, end of. The fact that Steve Brandon apologised for his first expletive, only for Tai to use it again makes it even more unacceptable, and if your looking for raw emotion can I suggest you look at Holders interview, pure emotion.
  7. Understand the sentiment, but how does using bad language portray your emotions better than just staying professional, I thought Zagar spoke very well after winning the GP and if there was anyone who`s emotions were running high, it was his.
  8. To be fair its not just his SGP form that has been poor, his form and scores haven't been great for Stal Gorzow this season. Clearly it must be a crisis of confidence as he has proved in the past that he is capable of beating the World`s best.
  9. When all said and done, a rider will go where the money is, either in pay or sponsorship.
  10. Sorry guys I thought I had copy and pasted the translated version.
  11. http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/543649/krzysztof-kasprzak-nadal-bezradny-to-bardzo-zly-sezon-dla-mnie This is translated from sportowefatky, the translation might be a bit ropey but it might help on the information you require.
  12. Agree though I am sure Steve Brandon would've asked Holder for an interview before the cameras came to him, which Holder obviously agreed to, but was overcome with emotion, and after the week he`s had who could blame him.

  14. I am hearing that Ryan Blacklock comes in as guest.
  15. In what way, Pedersen is still fighting for a World title, unlikely yes, but still fighting.
  16. Agree with you but a seven point defeat isn't to shabby, especially as you say when one or two of the Workington riders had, for them, poor nights. Sadly after being taken off by Ben Barker last night, Matt Williamson will be unable to take his place in tonight's meeting, awaiting news of a replacement. Hopefully young Matt wont be out for long.
  17. I thought the track rode well last night, with some of the racing for the minor places pretty good. It is true however that the track was dry, I am sure it would've been watered yesterday morning but the forecast chance of the odd shower never happened and with the football being at home that would mean the top surface was very dry when the track team had a chance to get on it after the football.
  18. Chris Holders interview may have been a short one, but it spoke a thousand words. Huge respect to the guy just for turning up never mind the way he raced.
  19. Great GP with proper speedway and a truly worthy winner especially after having to pick himself off the deck. Tai Woffinden`s title to lose now, and he will be a worthy World Champ. Obviously this week emotions have been running high with the plight Darcy Ward finds himself in, but I thought it was disgraceful to see Tai effing and blinding during his interview last night, surely he could've sent his best wishes to Ward without the bad language.
  20. Giving the similarities between the two tracks there`s no reason why Berwick cant put up a decent show and performance tonight.
  21. Delighted to get back to winning ways, guests played a big part in particularly Ryan Fisher who certainly has a liking for Shielfield. Berwick seemed to have the meeting well in control but an 8-1 in Ht11 made this tighter towards the end of the meeting. After a last place in his first ride Anders Mellgren can be proud of his debut for his new club, and by the looks of things we have a rider who can make consistent good starts. Good to see Matt Williamson get up from an untidy crash after he was the victim of an over ambitious move from Ben Barker in Ht6, with Barker rightly excluded. I will be sitting down over the next few days to watch the Memories of Berwick dvd I bought last night, by the looks of things their stock was all but sold out by the time I left the stadium so the club can look forward to making a few quid after the generous deal from the people at Retro Speedway.
  22. Weather looks okish for Berwick today, there will be the odd shower around this afternoon but they will be mostly in the west of the Border, so with a bit of luck Berwick will escape. Hopefully tonight's meeting there will be a prompt start, no accidents and a full meeting including the junior meeting which in some weeks is as enjoyable to watch as the big boys.
  23. Berwick`s guests plus new signing look a bit to strong for Workington, and a home win will be make a welcome change after having to sit through the last few weeks.
  24. http://www.berwickbandits.co/article/edinburgh-vs-Berwick Meeting called off due to rain.
