Fantastic for PL speedway but please Edinburgh and Glasgow promotions no hike in admission money, let speedway be the winner, rather than squeezing the fans for every penny.

Both legs start at 7pm, if the weather plays ball i will certainly be at the 2nd leg.

Not knocking the idea on posters, but surely there is more to speedway promotion than putting a few posters up. Speedway promoters need to reach out to their fans more now than ever before.

The reserve position was certainly Berwick`s achilles heel at times during the season, that was compounded when running with R/R for so long.

I hope we look at getting back to a strength in depth team, it worked a couple of seasons ago.

Absolutely I think this is the one failing of the draft system we have now, maybe we could go to sixteen heats and have one extra reserves race later in the meeting for example, but the other fifteen heats should stay as they are now.

Eklof seemed to put in some decent scores towards the end of the PL season, whether he could or want to commit to a full season over here is another matter.

Most promotions have become lazy and reliant on their hard core base to turn up week after week no matter what, now at some tracks that hard core is voting with their feet leaving some clubs on the edge.

I would like to see a rule brought where if you sign an assessed averaged rider they remain on that average untill they go above that figure, so the likes of Konopka, Edberg and Co would still be on their starting average.

Like I say the club needs its supporters club every bit as much as the supporters club needs the speedway club, working separately is no good, the supporters club can still be independent of the club yet still work hand in hand.

Obviously its great we have speedway to look forward to and I take my hat off to those who have stepped forward with an investment that allows speedway to continue. I hope for the betterment of Berwick Speedway the club and it supporters club sit down and thrash out whatever differences they seem to have last season, as it did no good to either party and IMO they need each-other if the club is to survive and flourish into the future. IMO we don't need a VIP club especially when there is already a popular, well run supporters club run by people who bend over back wards to help the club. Obviously there is two sides to every story, but surely that should be put behind and confined to history.

I would like to see the KOC scrapped, bring back 4`s qualifiers for a Finals day at an EL track, the new stadium at Belle Vue maybe, though from a personal point of view I am quite happy with the EoES.

But what night, Friday is a no no with Edinburgh racing the same night. Saturday`s are a possibility, but with Workington and hopefully Berwick already racing on that night, would the BSPA want another Saturday night track up north as it helpful for the southern tracks to fit in fixtures on northern tours the way the things are now.

Though on a smaller scale, one or two PL have regional cups already, Glasgow and Edinburgh for for the Spring Trophy, a trophy which is not much more than a spring nailed to a piece of wood. Berwick and Newcastle have raced for the Cock of the North Trophy, trophy is still in the design stage.

Maybe HRH could take over at Berwick, no stately homes but I`m sure we can sort a chalet out for her.
