  1. I think that contradicts what he said in the same magazine a couple of weeks ago, maybe the Monarchs have told him he wont be need there. So that would mean Cook finding a new team in the PL, even on a high average there`s bound to be teams tempted to give him a shot.
  2. I agree, representing his Country, finishing on the rostrum in British Finals, qualifying for SGP, and top scoring for his team in the PL up and down the league, clearly signs of going to pieces.
  3. If your figure is any where near right, that's a lot of money to find for what is a six month season.
  4. Pyjper rode in and completed the meeting at Berwick last Saturday, without mishap. He must be missing this meeting to take part in practice and the meeting itself. With Kylmakorpi injured and out of the meeting Pyjper has a very reel chance of getting a medal.
  5. Commercially I understand, but IMO no team should be seeded directly to the Final.
  6. SWC I agree with, but as long as Cardiff is hosting a SGP I cant see another one in this Country.
  7. Errrrrrrrrrrrrr no, lets just say that Berwick Speedway doesn't need Mr Lindon right now.
  8. Fair enough but its getting him there in the first place that has proved at bit of a problem.
  9. This team wont see the light of day but it has the strength in depth your looking for Ryan Fisher 7-42 Theo Pyjper 6-55 David Bellego 6-06 Anders Mellgren 6-10 Kevin Doolan 6-74 Tero Aarnio 4-53 Dimitri Berge 4-70 Total 42-10
  10. BSPA have a meeting in around a months time, at the meeting Berwick will have to declare if they are running next year or not, you would think though that if an investor or buyer has come forward and is in talks with the club a period of grace would be given.
  11. I`m only five minutes from Robert Smith`s I`m willing to take the free chips for the team on here.
  12. Last average I can see for Hughes at PL level was at the end of the 2012 season, his average then was sub four point.
  13. Thomas Jorgensen has withdrawn from Thursday Silver Helmet meeting at Redcar due to injury, he will be replaced by Peter Karger.
  14. Thought about Carr for my team, he has come back well from injury but IMO needs a season winning races and being a top rider at NL level. However if the promoters introduce a fast track reserve system then Carr would certainly be in my team, though the top five would need to change as there would bound to be a decent sized reduction in points limit.
  15. 1 Thomas Jorgensen 7-80 2 Theo Pyjper 6-55 3 Kevin Doolan 6-74 4 Ryan Fisher 7-42 5 Claus Vissing 7-54 6 Fernando Garcia 3-00 7 Nicki Barrett 3-01 Happy with my top five but a bit worried about the bottom end.
  16. Hampel is stitched on for a pick, if Jonsson narrowly misses out on a top eight place then that would/should put him in front of Lindback.
  17. Don`t read things into posts that aren't there, we already have one that does, Jorgensen was representing Berwick Speedway so you`d think that would interest the promotion/manager who I am sure were there to support and advise their rider. Read my previous posts, I think you`ll find they are supportive of Jorgensen`s opportunity to ride in yesterday`s meeting. See the post before the poster.
  18. Nicholls rides in Poland on what you would guess is a reasonably lucrative contract, which would mean him potentially missing the odd Sunday meeting.
  19. If he`d narrowly missed out on qualification then fair enough, but he finished well down the field. With Sayfudinov currently refusing a GP return, and the current situation Darcy Ward finds himself in means there might be an extra wild card spot or two up for grabs, right now that's Lindback`s only hope.
  20. And they won it on Danish soil which I`m sure made it all the sweeter, though at individual level Sweden are poor. Jonsson currently outside the top eight, and there`s hardly a Swedish rider deserving of a wild card pick, especially giving the performance of Lindback in Saturday`s GP Challenge.
  21. Yes its true, and a bit shabby IMO. http://ryehouserockets.co/news.php?extend.1122 This confirms that Kennett only had one bike to use at Sheffield having had machinery problems at Berwick the night before.
  22. We`re talking proper burgers though, not the second rate pap they sell in Berlin Airport for example.
  23. Oh don't worry we will keep the pies back for the full conference in a few weeks, but right now we will knock then bandy with the burgers.
